My answer is very much a non-answer too. It depends. "Crown paper" (if you're referring to the watermark) is a pretty broad category. Most of 18C paper is handmade, pre-wood pulp paper, so will feel thick and sturdy to 21C touch. But paper for printing cheap pamphlets will be of different quality than, say, good writing paper.</p>",
