The recipe says melted butter so she picked some up from the store... or so she thought.<br /><br />Either she didn't read the label or got swindled by the marketing department of Becel.<br /><br />Plant butter IS margarine.<br />She went and got a brick of the same shit we already have in the fridge. SMH<br /><br />I decided to let her know what she bought and she defends herself by saying \"Well maybe it's more butter flavored.\"<br /><br />I'm not gonna start anything so I was just like 'Whatever' meanwhile thinking to myself 'THAT'S THE FUCKING PURPOSE OF MARGARINE YOU MENTAL-GYMNASTIC BITCH! Either you don't want to admit you fucked up or you believe the bullshit you get force fed every day. Which one is it?'<br /><br />Yeah, whatever. I'm too tired to call her out on the bullshit.<br /><br />Update: taste tested it... it's shitty low-salt margarine.",

She mentioned the abortion problem and I immediately tried to tell her the real truth (It's up to the state and was a ruling by the Supreme Court, an entirely different branch of government) but my son was in the room and interrupted our convo (there was no shouting just tension in our voice.)<br /><br />What it boils down to is she was college educated in audio/visual tech for broadcast; just a microstep away from mainstream media. She has been a long time advocate for the LGBTQ+ community. I don't fault her for that, though. Hell, I consider myself an advocate. I just try to show her the lies. Truth will out. She relies too much on her feelings and opinions until the truth is brought to her attention. She's very smart so she has never been so far left as to not be able to see reason for what it is.<br /><br />In the end I told her I was saddened by the fact that she actually gets angry at me for my political position and needs to realise all is not black an white. I think Trump is probably an asshole at a personal level, but at least his policies are solid... and, no, all who voted for him aren't psychopaths and racists. Get that out of your head, woman. I don't think everyone who voted Kamala are baby-killing blue haired misandrists. Get a grip.<br /> We all mostly meet in the middle and some things are universal. War is bad. Violence is bad. Keep children safe. Love and protect those whom you call family. Music and laughter transcends all cultural boundaries.<br /><br />We do love each other tremendously and we told each other so in the end. Differences in opinions and all... and like a typical women she almost never admits to being wrong. And she didn't again.<br /><br />May you all find a soulmate as good for you as mine is to me.<br />",
