"content": "So I got this (image) on my Facebook from a comment response, and this was my reply back below. Do you agree? Disagree? Let me know what you think. <a href=\"https://www.minds.com/search?f=top&t=all&q=abortion\" title=\"#abortion\" class=\"u-url hashtag\" target=\"_blank\">#abortion</a><br /><br />(My comment back)<br />I read through the initial thing you posted. Here's what I think about it, since most of those things I would do to adults too, which doesn't help the pro choice argument. I will number each point in reference to the paragraph:<br /><br />1: Any human being (Adult or Baby) should be able to have the plug pulled on them. And if they aren't able to consent, brain damage, etc. you have the next of kin decide that. In this case the mother, if a baby isn't viable, Agreed?<br /><br />2. Any human being (Adult or Baby) has the right to life, and to not have that inflicted on by someone else. The victim has the right to defend themselves in any way necessary, including killing the other person. In this case, a baby killing it's mother, the mother has the right to defend herself and kill that baby. Agreed?<br /><br />3. Same as point two, the mother is suppose to protect herself and her life. If an unplanned miscarriage happens, and the dead fetus needs to be taken out, it should. Agreed?<br /><br />I don't think most ProLifers disagree on the statements above, which was the point of the article (that they agree), because its the same thing you would do to any human life, Adult or Baby.<br /><br />Number 4 is where I think the article is wrong. I don't believe ProLifers are ok with abortion in the situation of a pregnancy as an outcome of rape. They concede it legally because it accounts for like .001% of abortions, not a hill willing to die on haha.<br /><br />Two wrongs don't make a right, no matter how strong my feelings are or depressed I am, that's the law. If someone murders my whole family, and I'm literally dying for revenge, it's clawing at me, I HAVE to kill them. I'm still not allowed to. It's another human life, and just because they did something terrible, doesn't mean I'm then allowed too. In this situation, ya a terrible act happened, but that doesn't mean you can kill the baby made from it, I believe is the ProLifers actual stance.<br /><br />If two human beings are perfectly healthy, no one has the right to murder one of them. I think that's more their stance, for the majority.<br /><br />And the last paragraph \"It is not your body, not your choice\" THIS is the only argument to debate really, since the above are the same things we would do to Adults and Babies.<br /><br />If the baby inside you, is always part of your body until birth, there for \"your choice\", until birth, then that means you can abort it at anytime, up until the baby is outside of you. And the ProLifers argument is the opposite, it's not your body, it's another human being, and if perfectly healthy, and not killing the mother or anything like that, should then not be murdered.<br /><br />There's obviously fringe people that are super anti abortion even in harm to the mother scenarios, just like there are crazy people who think aborting a baby a day before the due date is ok. But I think the majority of people are in the middle, and if so, then they can't really stand by the statement \"my body my choice\", because they admit as some point, they consider it another body. So blanket statements won't do.<br /><br />The end is where they agree it's not a form of birth control is the REAL ProLifer push. Because 99% of abortions are because the woman got pregnant, through consensual sex, and oops, got pregnant. And doesn't want to have a baby for whatever reason, even tho they are both healthy, so decides to abort it. And in that sense, i think the Prolifers are willing to compromise, if the 99% of unwarranted abortions are to be made illegal, (unwarranted based on the thing you posted part of \"I agree it's not a form of birth control\") Then i'm sure the prolifer's are willing to make exceptions for the 1% of cases.<br /><br />Also the the part of it bringing up \"no bill to tell a man what to do with his body\" is weird in general. It's insinuating woman aren't also ProLifer's, which we know they are. And the argument isn't even about her body, it's about protecting someone else's body. Unless again of course they don't consider that another body, hense the phrase \"my body my choice\"<br /><br />\"LITTLE FOOD FOR THOUGHT PEOPLE\" :)",
