"content": "(Classic) Sonic the Hedgehog Chaos Emerald and other magical gems fanon:<br />The \"Chaos Emeralds\" on South Island are actually different from the seven Chaos Emeralds we see in Sonic 2. The South Island emeralds are actually \"power stones\", artificial Chaos Emeralds created by the inhabitants of South Island, thousands of years ago. These six power stones keep South Island floating in it's ocean.<br />The Super Emeralds are a different set of emeralds kept hidden in the Special Zone. To summon them, you must fulfill certain requirements.<br />1) They can only be summoned if the Master Emerald and Angel Island are in danger.<br />2) You must collect the seven Chaos Emeralds and present them to the Master Emerald.<br />3) You must prove yourself worthy of wielding the Super Emeralds in the Special Zone.<br />4) The Super Emeralds can only be summoned seven times within one thousand years.<br />Once all requirements are fulfilled, the seven Super Emeralds will be fully powered. Two of the Super Emeralds' seven uses were used up in Sonic and Knuckles' story of Sonic 3 and Knuckles. The Stone Artifacts are monuments used to replace the Super Emeralds in Hidden Palace Zone when they are not needed.<br />The Chaos Emeralds in Sonic 3D Blast/Sonic 3D Flicky's Island are actually the Sol Emeralds from the Sol Zone. They look like the Sol Emeralds, they are from another dimension, and Sonic doesn't use them to go Super. It is possible Flicky's Island in the Classic Zone is connected to the Sol Zone.<br />The other Chaos Emeralds, such as in the Game Gear Games and Sonic the Fighters, are actually just power stones. They are similar to the Chaos Emeralds, and can even be used to turn into a weaker \"Super\" form (Although it requires eight, instead of seven), but power stones are much weaker than the seven Chaos Emeralds. Power stones were created as artificial Chaos Emeralds by the Second Great Civilization, the Trolls.<br />The seven Time Stones only exist in the Classic Zone. Five of the Time Stones are kept on Little Planet over Never Lake. Two of the Time Stones were kept on a floating island (Not Angel Island) in the Land of the Sky in the Temple of Time. However, after these Time Stones were used by Sonic and Sally, they returned to Little Planet with the other five Time Stones. Nobody knows how the Time Stones were created, but it is possible they were created through a time loop, and have no beginning nor end.<br />The Phantom Ruby is a magic gem created by the Echidna civilization, which is why we find it on Angel Island.<br />Chaos Energy is the unlimited energy contained within Chaos Emeralds. Chaos Energy is, by its very nature, chaotic and unstable, resulting in random effects when used in different ways. So I am assuming Dr Robotnik from Sonic CD is actually Dr Nega in disguise.)<br /><br />Evidence:<br />1) All three dimensions are fiery, post-apocalyptic locations.<br />2) Ifrit and Iblis are extremely similar monsters, in appearance, location, and name. They are very likely related, if not the same creature.<br />3) Crisis City appears in Sonic Generations, so Silver's future definitely still exists after the time travel in Sonic 06.<br />4) The timeline works out. Sonic CD very likely happens after Sonic Generations, since that is how it happened in the last issue of the Archie Comics (Which was approved by Sonic Team).<br />Sonic 06-Sonic Rivals 2-Sonic Generations-Sonic CD<br /><br />Iblis was defeated at the end of Sonic 06, and Mobius's future was changed. But Silver's future clearly still exists, as shown in Sonic Generations. Dr Gerald Robotnik from the post-06 timeline discovers this \"alternate dimension\" (As it is no longer the future), and manages to travel there for research. In the new timeline, 50 years later, Dr Eggman Nega tries to release the Ifrit from the alternate future, but gets trapped in this dimension, at the end of the games. The Time Eater traps Crisis City in White Space, but Sonic frees it. Dr Nega travels to this dimension's version of Little Planet, and makes his way to the Classic Dimension (Which is reachable through time travel, despite being a slightly different dimension). He starts changing the past of the Classic Dimension, to which Classic Sonic tries to stop him. "content": "Sonic the Hedgehog headcanon: The Sonic multiverse:<br /><br />- Planet Freedom: The world where Classic Sonic lives with his brother and sister, Manic and Sonia, and their mother Queen Aleena. This world has numerous Chaos Emerald-like objects on it. Most of these gems are referred to as \"Power Stones\", and are weaker versions of the Chaos Emeralds. Because of the Chaos Energy in this world, the world's continents have lifted up into the air, creating the \"Land of the Sky\" and the \"Land of Darkness\". The Floating Island is a part of the Land of the Sky. This world has its own version of the Freedom Fighters, which Manic and Sonia are apart of. Dr Robotnik has yet to be overthrown in this dimension.<br /><br />- Mobius: The world where Modern Sonic lives. The Freedom Fighters have successfully overthrown the Eggman Empire in their latest battle, and are working to rebuild the world. Sally has retaken her thrown on the Acorn Archipelago, and Antoine, Bunny, Rotor, and Porker have joined her in rebuilding Mobotropolis. Sonic has formed a group known as the \"Restoration\" to rebuild the world after Eggman's wars and pollution. This dimension has relatively few \"magic gems\" on it, with it only housing the 7 Chaos Emeralds, the Master Emerald, and the Warp Topaz. It is unknown if Manic, Sonia, and Aleena exist in this dimension, but the Hedgehog Kingdom doesn't. The World of the Arabian Nights and the World of King Arthur are actually the same dimension, just in different time periods.<br /><br />- Earth: A world filled with humans and human countries, such as the United Federation, Chu-nan, Apotos, etc. This world and Mobius used to be the same planet, but they split apart when Tikal used the Master Emerald to seal away Chaos. Chaos Control still connects the two worlds, allowing easy travel between them. Sometimes, Chaos Control can even teleport locations across the two worlds. GUN (Guardian Unit of Nations) is a military organization based in the United Federation and acts as an armed forces internationally, protecting the planet.<br /><br />- Planet Sol: aka, Blaze's world. Planet Sol is a planet similar to Mobius in many ways, but instead of Chaos Emeralds, it houses the Sol Emeralds. The Sol Emeralds and Chaos Emeralds can be used to attract and repel each other, and together they can create enormous amounts of energy. Blaze is the princess of the Cat Archipelago. This universe also houses the Jeweled Scepter, which is one of a kind in the multiverse. It controls the energies that separate the different dimensions from each other. There are lesser \"Power Scepters\" throughout the multiverse, that can channel the Jeweled Scepter's energies from other dimensions, but are much less powerful.<br /><br />- Planet Bygone: The Sonic Boom universe. In this universe, an ancient civilization defeated the Nocturnus and Knuckles tribes, and took their technology for their own. These Ancients created many artificial Chaos Emeralds, known as Chaos Crystals. These Chaos Crystals have enormous energies, that can be used for many different things, depending on the design of the crystal. The real Chaos Emeralds and Master Emerald have remained hidden on Angel Island.<br /><br />- Earth-2: Sonic Boom's version of Earth. This planet is where Sonic Boom's Shadow and Eggman come from. It is likely similar to Earth, but not much is known about it.<br /><br />- The Special Zone: A universe made out of pure Chaos Energies. Because of this, the Special Zone is chaotic and constantly changing. The Special Zone can be accessed from anywhere in the Multiverse. The various Chaos Emeralds (And other objects imbued with Chaos Energy) can travel between the Special Zone and their home dimension randomly. There are beings inside the Special Zone, many of whom are imbued with Chaos Energies and can use the Special Zone's chaotic nature to test travelers who seek to collect the Chaos Emeralds housed there. These figures are mysterious, and like to keep hidden. You can only collect Chaos Emeralds/Chaos items from the Special Zone that originated from your home dimension. So no stealing items from other dimensions.
