"content": "Why don't Christians make it a priority to figure out which version of Biblical chronology is accurate if any? The strongest arguments fall in favor of Septuagint chronology, considering it was the most universal Bible during the life of Jesus. Septuagint chronology shows that the timing of Noah's flood (3298 BC) corresponds perfectly with the earliest recorded histories of pagan societies such as Mayan (3114 BC), Babylonian (3200 BC), Chinese, (3000 BC) and Egyptian (3100 BC). This reconciliation of pagan and Old Testament histories is critical for gaining the full context of History. Further, connecting identities such as Canaan/Zeus, Ham/Chronos, Noah/Uranus, and Prometheus/Javan allows for the creation of a multicultural family tree of Noah's descendants, creating a more holistic picture of post-flood history. The cataclysm which destroyed the capital city of the Atlantean Empire likely destroyed cities in South America, and around the Mediterranean as well. It's remembered in Greek mythology as the Ogygian Flood and the War of the Atlanteans and the Athenians as recorded by Plato took place immediately preceding it.
