This study reportedly examined 467 healthcare workers vaccinated with at least three COVID-19 vaccine doses, including mRNA vaccines, and found that 222 workers who never had COVID-19 infection exhibited classic Long COVID symptoms such as fatigue, brain fog, memory loss, depression, and anxiety. The study allegedly found no significant difference in these symptoms between those never infected and those infected, concluding that the vaccines are the sole trigger of these symptoms, coining the term “Post-Vaccine Syndrome” (PVS)[2].

However, a thorough review of available scientific literature and credible sources reveals a more nuanced and complex reality:

1. **Long COVID is widely recognized as a post-viral syndrome** caused by SARS-CoV-2 infection, with symptoms persisting for months after acute illness. Multiple studies confirm neurological and psychiatric symptoms as part of Long COVID, linked to the virus’s direct injury and immune/inflammatory responses[3][7].

2. **Vaccination generally reduces the risk of developing Long COVID**, with some studies showing partial protection ranging from 15% to 41% reduction in risk among vaccinated individuals compared to unvaccinated[3][5]. However, the protection varies by variant, vaccination status, and timing.

3. **Post-Vaccine Syndrome (PVS) is a recognized but rare phenomenon**, where a small fraction of individuals report chronic symptoms after vaccination. A recent immunological study involving 42 PVS participants found distinct immune profile changes, including altered T cell populations and evidence of Epstein-Barr virus reactivation, suggesting complex immune dysregulation post-vaccination. Importantly, this study also highlighted that some PVS cases had no evidence of SARS-CoV-2 infection, but it did not claim that Long COVID symptoms are exclusively vaccine-induced or that vaccines are the sole cause of these symptoms[1].

4. **There is no conclusive evidence that vaccines cause Long COVID symptoms in the majority of cases**. The presence of symptoms in vaccinated but uninfected individuals does not prove causation; symptoms like fatigue and brain fog can have multiple causes, including stress, other infections, or underlying conditions.

5. **The scientific consensus supports vaccination as a critical tool** in reducing severe COVID-19 outcomes and Long COVID risk, despite rare adverse effects. The narrative that vaccines cause widespread Long COVID-like illness is not supported by the bulk of peer-reviewed research and public health data[3][5].

6. **Claims that vaccines cause immune system damage or “vaccine injury” misbranded as Long COVID often rely on incomplete or misinterpreted data**, and sometimes on discredited theories about vaccine components or virus origins[4][6].

In conclusion, while some individuals may experience prolonged symptoms after COVID-19 vaccination, the overwhelming evidence indicates that Long COVID is primarily a consequence of SARS-CoV-2 infection. Vaccines reduce the risk and severity of Long COVID in most cases. The notion that Long COVID is solely a vaccine injury lacks robust scientific support and misrepresents current research findings. Ongoing studies continue to investigate the mechanisms of both Long COVID and rare post-vaccine syndromes to improve diagnosis and treatment[1][3][7].

[1] https://www.medrxiv.org/content/10.1101/2025.02.18.25322379v1.full
[2] https://www.instagram.com/p/DLn87RCBHDz/
[3] https://www.nature.com/articles/s41579-022-00846-2
[4] https://www.truebiblecode.com/understanding917.html
[5] https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/39933578/
[6] https://akdart.com/cv.html
[7] https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S1684118222001864
[8] http://lidiotduvillage.org/wp-content/uploads/2022/03/Chronologie-du-Covid-220311-VOLUME-4.pdf",
