"content": "SHAMEFUL DEFEAT | 29 JANUARY 2021 | JACK OATES\n\nPresident Trump, now a former and disrespected president, who is facing an unconstitutional impeachment trial, displaced by a confused and rattled brained Joseph Biden, who, elected by the American voter, sits in the White House, signing whatever instrument that is put down in front him, and has no opposition to speak of. The Republications, in their haste to appease the new president, forgotten, by convenience or by corruption, they are, in name only, the Loyal Opposition, meaning, it is their job to oppose. \n\nChina understands the advantage it has with Joe Biden in the White House. The world is about to change. \n\nThe Western world, failing to contain a virus unleashed by accident or by purposeful deceit, has locked down most people and destroyed our economy. The full extent of the devastation will not be known for decades to come, if ever. China has won the first battle in an invisible war. Aggression by China military forces in India and overt threats of invasion against Taiwan, a hot war, if not tomorrow, could begin by year’s end. \n\nThe Covid-19 virus and Joe Biden, firmly cocooned in the Oval Office and, the Republicans toothless and benched for at least the next two years, it is now ghastly apparent, and with mind-numbing dread, that the United States has thrown down its sword, surrendered in shameful defeat, and capitulated with broken knee to China. \n\nWhich country will stand up to China and replace the United States as the leader of the free world?\n\n© 2021 JACK OATES\n",
