"content": "This post was from 2019. I definitely called the date for the breaking of the previous all time high (20,000) wrong. I was a year late, but my assumption was it would be 6-12 months after breaking that high before seeing a blow off top in 2022. I still think we go higher next year. Macro has severely changed since 2019, so I don’t how the blow off top will look. Maybe the quick run up to 64000 in May was too far too fast and the last 6 months are just for regaining steam. That’s what I think and is in line with what I drew for the 2022 top in 2019.",

"content": "Think about it.... the US government over regulates everything. Look at the regulations imposed on individuals to show gains and losses in crypto for tax purposes. This is a huge barrier for crypto being used as currency. They focus so much on income tax and the 80,000 page IRS code and how to fit crypto into that instead of turning the system on its head and looking at a system that frees the concept of money from government regulation. They do this for political and financial reasons.<br /><br />People don't make the connection, but I urge you to read The Fair Tax (<a href=\"https://fairtax.org/\" target=\"_blank\">https://fairtax.org/</a>) legislation which introduces a consumption tax, removes the income tax forever and abolishes the IRS in its current form, all of this being required in Constitutional amendments so there is no possibility of a consumption + income tax. If this system were enacted, the currency in which an individual chose to transact and save would be irrelevant to the government. Businesses registered with their state would be responsible for collecting the consumption tax on new purchases in the currency that the government enforced on the business entities.",

"content": "Been a while! It's about to get interesting with Crypto over the next 6-12 months. My opinion is there are currently 2 scenarios. 1. Bitcoin falls from here (~$9100) and probably holds above $6000 before a push above the $10500 previous high sometime late this year or into next year. 2. Bitcoin rockets up to ~16,000 and then falls back to $10000 as support. Either way, the NVT would reset and would be ready for a push to the upside, and I think we will be around $11000 about the same time either way. Here is a chart showing what I think might be in store. Where will we top?? 9000 or 10000? Not sure, it's crypto! ... but we will get a large haircut when the NVT, stochastic RSI and shorts reset. We could be at the beginning of this reset or we could still have a leg up. "content": "Following up on my previous post on Dec 15th about a Bitcoin relief rally coming that we are possibly currently in the midst of. I've attached a new chart showing support below and resistance above. The range between these two highlighted areas is about 300 points. If this is the rally I was expecting, we will push through the resistance in the next week or 2 and move into the 3800-4500 range. If it's not, I think we could start consolidating between the blue zones that I have drawn, and I think this will be a bearish sign. I still think 3800-4500 is in the cards, but time will tell. As I said in the previous post, every time back to 2014 the Stoch RSI does what as it did in the last week, there has been a 20-30% rally. That leaves us with about 500 more points to around 4000 with where we are currently sitting at 3505.<br /><br />There are many bullish as well as bearish signals right now. One of the biggest bullish signals I've had in the last week is witnessing people completely selling their crypto at the very bottom with the expectation that they would soon be able to buy more as the price drops.",
