"content": "Dear support people,<br /><br />I came to Minds as a result of a comment, to which a FB friend responded with your link:<br /><br />How I wish there were a viable alternative to this FB Big Brother nonsense. Google Plus ain't it. WeMe ain't it, either. For now, we're stuck, at the mercy of Tzukerberg PC thought police. I'm already using DuckDuckGo instead of Google. Maybe something/somebody will come along to knock out FB some day – hopefully, while we're still alive ...<br /><br />After rejoicing re Minds and upon reading another comment from another FB friend (\"I have a MeWe account but you're right, no one is on there (yet), same with Gab for Twitter\"), I had an obvious thought re signing up more people: automation.<br /><br />Would it be feasible for Minds to offer a networking tool, which, after being granted permission by, say, an FB user who would like to lure friends from FB to Minds, would go through the list of the Minds' user's FB friends, sending them invitations to join the Minds user at Minds in a programmatic/automatic way -- or, at the very least (say, during alpha stage) allow the Minds user to select those FB friends s/he would like to import into Minds by a simple click of the button?",

Then I chose a password and went through a lengthy “I’m not a robot” procedure<br /><br />3. Then I was told that there must be at least one capital letter<br /><br />4. I changed the password to comply<br /><br />5. Then I had to go through the lengthy “I’m not a robot” procedure again (2nd time)<br /><br />6. Then I was told that I had to have a number in the password<br /><br />7. I changed the password accordingly<br /><br />8. Then I had to go through the lengthy “I’m not a robot” procedure again (3rd time)<br /><br />9. Then I was told that I had to have a special character in the password<br /><br />10. I changed the password accordingly yet again<br /><br />11. Then I had to go through the lengthy “I’m not a robot” procedure again (4th time)<br /><br />12. Then I was told that my username could only contain alphanumeric characters (I separated my first and last names by a blank space)<br /><br />13. So I had to make an appropriate change yet again<br /><br />14. Then I had to go through the lengthy “I’m not a robot” procedure yet again (5th time)<br /><br />Do you see anything wrong with this picture? :-)<br /><br />Why not simply state the rules upfront so as not have us waste the time and effort on such silly trial and error? I was almost ready to give up on you and it was out of sheer stubbornness and curiosity that I persevered and finally succeeded.<br /><br />Please make the appropriate and obvious changes so as not to subject others to such unnecessary indignity.<br /><br />Thank you,<br /><br />Seva Brodsky",
