But....<br />Once they are able to quantize and create consciousness (if they can at all ), robbing mankind of any semblance of a spiritual existence it will mean nothing to be human as the mind will become an arbitrary machine that can be chopped and changed on a whim, destroying any credibility and weight of authority for any military and government.<br />What philosophical position will they use to justify thier own existence to the people they rule over ?.<br />If they can change a brain to whatever they want, then any semblance of authority or deep meaningful connection dies with it as it no long has any weight to it.
