Marriage Is a Surrender. Not a Strategy.\nLadies, hear this:\nMarriage is not a TED Talk.\nIt’s not a feminist campaign.\nIt’s not a trial run for dominance.\nIt’s a daily surrender of ego for partnership.\nIf you’re still armed with childhood trauma,\nIf every man reminds you of your absent father,\nIf every disagreement triggers survival mode…\nYou’re not ready.\nBecause the man you claim to love?\nHe’s not your enemy.\nHe’s not your opponent.\nHe’s not your project.\nHe’s your partner.\nAnd if peace isn’t part of your offering?\nDon’t be surprised when he chooses silence over conversation… and distance over dinner.\n---\nFinal Word: Men Don’t Leave Because You’re Strong. They Leave Because You’re Loud.\nThe modern woman can do everything:\n– Earn money\n– Raise kids\n– Lead teams\n– Win arguments\nBut ask yourself:\nCan you preserve peace?\nCan you follow without resistance?\nCan you trust his instincts without a lecture?\nCan you express pain without projecting disrespect?\nBecause marriage is not for the rebellious, argumentative, or nagging woman.\nIt’s for the woman who knows how to speak… without stabbing.\nHow to disagree… without disgrace.\nHow to love… without leading a revolution.\nDon’t fight the man who’s fighting for you.\nDrop the sword.\nBuild the peace.\nBecome the home.\nIvan Orovio · \nhttps://www.abebooks.com/9781568213781/Woman-Valor-Eshet-Hayil-Israel-1568213786/plp", "mediaType": "text/plain" } }, "id": "https://www.minds.com/api/activitypub/users/818708820938203146/entities/urn:activity:1776408547429457920/activity" }, { "type": "Create", "actor": "https://www.minds.com/api/activitypub/users/818708820938203146", "object": { "type": "Note", "id": "https://www.minds.com/api/activitypub/users/818708820938203146/entities/urn:activity:1776402069444370432", "attributedTo": "https://www.minds.com/api/activitypub/users/818708820938203146", "content": "As a parent this message is an important reversal of what we had been led to believe for decades ... but my personal experience seems to confirm the wisdom of getting sufficient sun exposure even if you are a 'fair-skinned' sort.<br />Moderation in all things.", "to": [ "https://www.w3.org/ns/activitystreams#Public" ], "cc": [ "https://www.minds.com/api/activitypub/users/818708820938203146/followers", "https://www.minds.com/api/activitypub/users/818708820938203146" ], "tag": [], "url": "https://www.minds.com/newsfeed/1776402069444370432", "published": "2025-06-02T22:27:37+00:00", "inReplyTo": "https://www.minds.com/api/activitypub/users/818708820938203146/entities/urn:activity:1776401583295176704", "source": { "content": "As a parent this message is an important reversal of what we had been led to believe for decades ... but my personal experience seems to confirm the wisdom of getting sufficient sun exposure even if you are a 'fair-skinned' sort.\nModeration in all things.", "mediaType": "text/plain" } }, "id": "https://www.minds.com/api/activitypub/users/818708820938203146/entities/urn:activity:1776402069444370432/activity" }, { "type": "Create", "actor": "https://www.minds.com/api/activitypub/users/818708820938203146", "object": { "type": "Note", "id": "https://www.minds.com/api/activitypub/users/818708820938203146/entities/urn:activity:1776401583295176704", "attributedTo": "https://www.minds.com/api/activitypub/users/818708820938203146", "content": "•Skin cancers are by far the most commonly diagnosed cancer in the United States, so to prevent them, the public is constantly told to avoid the sun.
