If you want to build a system designed to break, while also not wanting it to break, it requires a level of vigilance the founding fathers tried to explain, but its fallen on deaf ears to this way. It needs to be replaced long before it becomes broken. That is the job of the people. Its why you have 1A and 2A and 4A and all those lovely freedoms and liberties. It is a process which is really no different than a new software first releasing an extreme alpha version for testing, and as it evolves over time, the older versions are replaced entirely by the newer versions. Depending on the situation, changes may be small, or they might be major. We've become scared of this process for a nation, because the people have become like little children. Cowardly. Lazy. Cognitive Decline. A Mental Illness Epidemic that is the biggest in history, and also the most ignored. A house divided can not stand. A constitutional republic will ultimately degrade into a democracy which will ultimately degrade into fascism, communism, communitarianism or one of those other nasty options. So until we mature enough to figure out how to more effortlessly maintain vigilance, we all must each as individuals do our best in our own lives. Not movements or groups. Just basic human interaction. Be a better person and stop hanging around with folks who either won't do the same, or are incapable of it.
