"content": "Dear Veteran:<br /><br />My name is Mark Holland, I am currently working on a revision to my first book, “A Veteran’s Perspective on VA Benefits”. In this book, I ask each of you to please write a couple pages on your experience in navigating through the VA, whether filing a claim or getting assistance from the VA. I am doing my best to help others by letting them know they are not alone in their trials dealing with the VA. My main focus will be assisting with benefits claims as I am a VSO (Veterans Service Officer) and have been doing this for a few years. My goal is to get each one of us get what we deserve. We put our name on the dotted line and the government said they would take care of us. So, my goal is to do just that.<br />I am 100% disabled, and if it weren’t for the benefits, I would probably be on the street. I want to see vet suicide end. I am working on becoming an assistant to the USSVI (United States Submarine Veterans International) VSO and will be working closely with the OKC, OK VA system, ODVA (Oklahoma Disabled Veterans Administration), and other veteran groups around the nation. I ask for your help and will gladly list you as a contributor and with a pic, give you credit for your story, that is, of course, if you want that. My books will never cost more than $9.99 since it is not about money but about helping my brothers and sisters.<br />If you decide to help, please do this by Nov 15th so I can edit and proof the book. I will not change any of your stories except to perhaps help with wording and grammar.
