My trust in her paid off, over a year of not being able to leave her without crating her, knowing she HATES the crate, and finally, FINALLY, it seems she will be okay on her own.

I literally can't express how much of a big deal this is for us, for her, and for the rest of the family. Taking on such a severe separation anxiety case felt like kind of being chained to the house, always having to plan for taking her along, or shortening outings.

I'm so proud of her! So fucking proud. I don't know what caused her separation anxiety to begin with, but talk about a demonstration of getting over personal trauma, even if not in a human.

My little white shadow is learning to step into her own self and trust in her family.",
