"content": "The rain has been relentless ever since we started building our house. A few days ago we had a particularly heavy downpour and I figured a short video was in order. "content": "Even though the far bank of the pond recently collapsed, the health of the pond is still seems to be improving. <br /><br />I decided to check out the water level near the overflow yesterday. It was six inches below the overflow of the pond. "content": "The Bank Collapse<br /><br />We are basically caught up to the current state of the pond now. A few days ago we had almost 4 inches of rain in two days and the far bank of the pond collapsed!<br /><br />It really sucks, especially since I should probably have known better. Unfortunately I don't have a picture of the planting process but it is simple enough to explain. <br /><br />You just cut willow sticks that are between pencil sized and finger sized a foot long and shove them into the ground 6-8\" deep.
