"content": "On Faith vs Knowing:<br /><br />Tired am I of hearing about faith from religious people, many in my own family. It is paraded around and talked about as if it were a badge of honor, to be held high in reverence and admiration. But highlighting the stark contrast between faith and knowing shows that it is something much less than it is thought to be by its many adherents.<br /><br />Faith can only exist in an environment of high uncertainty. Faith is the belief that something is true, while not knowing its true. It is the HOPE that something favorable is, or will be, true, typically while disregarding all facts that suggest whatever it is that is hoped for, is not likely to actually BE true (or clearly suggests flat out that it is NOT true).<br /><br />Knowing on the other hand, exists through the resolution of uncertainty. Knowing directly supercedes faith, and the two are mutually exclusive. As knowing increases, faith decreases proportionally.<br /><br />You cannot both have FAITH that 1+1=2, and KNOW that 1+1=2. If you have FAITH that such a thing is true, you do not know that it is true, but you hope it is. Likewise, if you KNOW that such a thing is true, you can no longer have faith that it is, because you KNOW it is. Your faith in 1+1 equalling 2 has been superceded by your KNOWING that it IS true.<br /><br />Is it any wonder then, given the above, why christcuckery demands FAITH, and not KNOWING? Is it any wonder then why knowledge was (and still is) persecuted and shunned by the very institutions that tell you they are your gatekeepers to salvation? In faith, a person can be controlled mentally due to the high level of inherent uncertainty that is required for faith to exist. In knowing, with an inherently low level of uncertainty, a person is much more resistant to mental control through deception and manipulation, especially via abstracted fear (the threat of hell, for example).<br /><br />Faith is a badge indeed; a badge of ignorance.<br /><br />Any organization, institution, dogma, or idea, that demands \"faith\", is trying to deceive you, and if you accept its demand of faith, you are willingly deceived.<br /><br />Its really a simple choice for any individual. They can choose faith, and stagnate both mentally and spiritually, or they can choose the quest for knowing, and advance both mentally and spiritually. It is true, that faith can be comfortable... but its a comfortable lie, most of the times, and an uneasy comfort at that, when you really examine the core of that \"faith\". And its also true that the quest for knowing can very often be uncomfortable, and even downright painful, let alone frustrating beyond reason at times.<br /><br />And quite frankly, faith is the preferred choice for the lazy, the cowardly, the irrationally fearful, and the defeated (however since true spiritual defeat can only be accomplished via capitulation (not destruction), defeat is a choice and not a victim state), and for those satisfied with comforting lies.<br /><br />The quest for knowing is the quest for Truth though, and its path is a rocky one, and frequently a lonely one, as it must be. It is the preferred choice for those who seek a higher destiny than that of the one they have been assigned by the enemy, the liars, and the deceivers. It is the choice of the resolute, the courageous, the spiritually and mentally strong, and those who desire a path of spiritual ascension, rather than one of imprisonment.<br /><br />Knowing above faith. Truth above lie.<br /><br />Knowing for the masters.<br /><br />Faith for the slaves.<br /><br />What path will you choose?",

They can choose faith, and stagnate both mentally and spiritually, or they can choose the quest for knowing, and advance both mentally and spiritually. It is true, that faith can be comfortable... but its a comfortable lie, most of the times, and an uneasy comfort at that, when you really examine the core of that \"faith\". And its also true that the quest for knowing can very often be uncomfortable, and even downright painful, let alone frustrating beyond reason at times.\n\nAnd quite frankly, faith is the preferred choice for the lazy, the cowardly, the irrationally fearful, and the defeated (however since true spiritual defeat can only be accomplished via capitulation (not destruction), defeat is a choice and not a victim state), and for those satisfied with comforting lies.\n\nThe quest for knowing is the quest for Truth though, and its path is a rocky one, and frequently a lonely one, as it must be. It is the preferred choice for those who seek a higher destiny than that of the one they have been assigned by the enemy, the liars, and the deceivers. It is the choice of the resolute, the courageous, the spiritually and mentally strong, and those who desire a path of spiritual ascension, rather than one of imprisonment.\n\nKnowing above faith. Truth above lie.\n\nKnowing for the masters.\n\nFaith for the slaves.\n\nWhat path will you choose?",
