"content": "so turns out the reason united didnt just offer customers more money to volunteer to leave the plane & called the cops in who mishandled the situation & busted that guys face... is because there are government regulations preventing them offering whatever they want. so again government is to blame for this shit, not only the police mishandling it but the reason people had to be removed by force in the first place: \"why didn't they just raise the comp rate to get more pax to volunteer? That seems to be the natural voluntary market solution. Surprise, surprise... government regulations.
