"content": "Personally I'd compare the cost of a Console (which essentially is a toy - lets be frank) to that of a PC graphics Card - it starts being way more expensive or is more expensive than the cost of a card a bit more powerful card + old Vanilla XBone then yeah it seems like a rip off - especially if there is no push to make sure developers are being arm twisted into using the extra power to get 60FPS , HDR, better textures or other features that are not otherwise included.<br /><br />As without some sort of selling point - there cost isn't justifiable as much - you are basically paying for the advantage of a bit more on-board memory meaning texture pop in is a bit less likely.<br /><br />If you can buy a card more powerful for a PC & an XBOX-S at the same time then the price structure collapses. especially when Microsofts ONLY selling point (to me) is a modest amount of backwards compatibility and a more comfortable controller. They have shown no interest in Single player games- they have allow Rare to ship an unfinished Joke and call it AAA. so no this may be the 1st time I skip Microsoft entirely - heck I might just stop playing new games entirely so long as no one makes games I like.<br /><br />I might reconsider if Microsoft do the following <br />1) continue to support Backwards compatibility<br />2) Drop the XBoneX Price by AT LEAST £100.00 (perhaps even £140.00) - I'm not going to pay £450 for a toy - heck i'd not even pay £350 most likely. But at least at £300.00 I can buy one on an Ebay Outlet when they have a 15% off sale and get one for a more modest £255 and a few pound cashback on top of that to most likely (even more if I use a Cashback credit card to pay). Then it's in the right ball park for a child's plaything.<br /><br />I'm not criticising it for being a toy - i'm just calling it what it is.<br /><br /><a href=\"https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9K1TLhwzmQQ\" target=\"_blank\">https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9K1TLhwzmQQ</a>",

"content": "Personally I'd compare the cost of a Console (which essentially is a toy - lets be frank) to that of a PC graphics Card - it starts being way more expensive or is more expensive than the cost of a card a bit more powerful card + old Vanilla XBone then yeah it seems like a rip off - especially if there is no push to make sure developers are being arm twisted into using the extra power to get 60FPS , HDR, better textures or other features that are not otherwise included.\n\nAs without some sort of selling point - there cost isn't justifiable as much - you are basically paying for the advantage of a bit more on-board memory meaning texture pop in is a bit less likely.\n\nIf you can buy a card more powerful for a PC & an XBOX-S at the same time then the price structure collapses. especially when Microsofts ONLY selling point (to me) is a modest amount of backwards compatibility and a more comfortable controller. They have shown no interest in Single player games- they have allow Rare to ship an unfinished Joke and call it AAA. so no this may be the 1st time I skip Microsoft entirely - heck I might just stop playing new games entirely so long as no one makes games I like.\n\nI might reconsider if Microsoft do the following \n1) continue to support Backwards compatibility\n2) Drop the XBoneX Price by AT LEAST £100.00 (perhaps even £140.00) - I'm not going to pay £450 for a toy - heck i'd not even pay £350 most likely. But at least at £300.00 I can buy one on an Ebay Outlet when they have a 15% off sale and get one for a more modest £255 and a few pound cashback on top of that to most likely (even more if I use a Cashback credit card to pay). Then it's in the right ball park for a child's plaything.\n\nI'm not criticising it for being a toy - i'm just calling it what it is.\n\nhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9K1TLhwzmQQ",

"content": "+2:42 Yeah maybe because no one would tell Lucas NO as they'd get fired.\nA Japanese artist stood up at an ILM meeting and complained a LOT about the design for 2007's Transformers Movie and as a result shamed them into modifying it a bit.\n\nNo one stood up to george so you get Teddy bears fighting storm troopers for marketing reasons and Yoda with his \"Laser Sword\" (some would say in complete contradiction to his character in Empire Strikes Back) - Lucas didn't like Empire as it was made by people who knew what they were doing more than a lazy coffee slurping business mad did, But even Lucas's slightly eccentric Business Brain means of film making - was a hell of a lot better in terms of the end result that what ever the hell Rian Johnson thought he was doing.\n\nhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ynBuQoSzeEE",
