"content": "This minds account will not exclusively focus on gaming, but I’ve decided a good use of it will be to host long (ish) form rambles about gaming, mostly reviews / recommendations.

My focus will be on weird (often cheap) titles that share the themes of “oh that’s a neat weird idea” and what I can handle without seizing or having a vascular migraine. Being an elderly gamer (30+) I have a strong tolerance of not-polished or pretty games that… had an idea. Sometimes it’s still not good, but it wanted to give you something different. Casual games are also becoming more popular, but I think they should or could be held to account a bit more in terms of our expectations for them. I hope to explore how gaming accessibility could be implemented without infringing on the game itself. Right now I really, really don’t agree with ideas like “let’s lower the difficulty”. Also I am a strong believer in the notion that we’ve “lost” many game mechanics and sub-genres along the way that deserve to be re-examined.

Lastly, a warning; there will also be sh*t post-sharing and snarky behavior from this account. I follow trolls, I bathe in the juices of the internet and I’m not going to bother keeping this account “clean”. My reviews will be non-partisan and professional (or try to be) but please drop all expectations otherwise. ",
