"content": "The featured EP in last week's show #176, was 'Glorious' by Wrekit88, to be released by DeepDownDirty on 10th August 2018. <br />------ <br /><a href=\"https://soundcloud.com/deepdowndirty-111649731/glorious-original-mix\" target=\"_blank\">https://soundcloud.com/deepdowndirty-111649731/glorious-original-mix</a> <br />------ <br /> A six track EP with three originals, each of which is remixed by Col Lawton. The title track, 'Glorious,' features the amazing vocals of Maria Milewska in a beautifully melodic house ballad with downtempo rhythms and chilled beats. Col Lawton's remix adds a tech house percussion and rhythm to create a darker feel with a chopped vocal used as a rhythmic device to great effect.<br /><br />'Feel My Heart Beat' also features Maria Milewski over a chiming keyboard figure and guitar rhythm and a more uptempo beat. Col Lawton's remix again adds a bouncy, dance rhythm but retains the Balearic feel of the original with a beautiful melody on the pads.<br /><br />'Tomorrow's Come' has a more stripped back feel with a sparse percussion track behind Maria's vocals until the melodic, rhythmic beat kicks in. Col Lawton spices up the percussion and uses elements of the vocal for a beautifully chilled take on the track.<br /><br />This is a beautiful EP for hot summer afternoons. "content": "The featured EP in last week's show #176, was 'Glorious' by Wrekit88, to be released by DeepDownDirty on 10th August 2018. <br />------ <br /><a href=\"https://soundcloud.com/deepdowndirty-111649731/glorious-original-mix\" target=\"_blank\">https://soundcloud.com/deepdowndirty-111649731/glorious-original-mix</a> <br />------ <br /> A six track EP with three originals, each of which is remixed by Col Lawton. The title track, 'Glorious,' features the amazing vocals of Maria Milewska in a beautifully melodic house ballad with downtempo rhythms and chilled beats. Col Lawton's remix adds a tech house percussion and rhythm to create a darker feel with a chopped vocal used as a rhythmic device to great effect.<br /><br />'Feel My Heart Beat' also features Maria Milewski over a chiming keyboard figure and guitar rhythm and a more uptempo beat. Col Lawton's remix again adds a bouncy, dance rhythm but retains the Balearic feel of the original with a beautiful melody on the pads.<br /><br />'Tomorrow's Come' has a more stripped back feel with a sparse percussion track behind Maria's vocals until the melodic, rhythmic beat kicks in. Col Lawton spices up the percussion and uses elements of the vocal for a beautifully chilled take on the track.<br /><br />This is a beautiful EP for hot summer afternoons.
