Of course, having lived long enough, I know hopes don't cut it - change is required. Painful, soul tearing change, in which I'm still in the process of. I guess that's what life is about, for me. <br /><br />Anyway, enough about me. I see a lot of people screaming for change around the internet - hell, they're even talking about climate to change, for them. This, for me, appears to be a cry for the same yearning for individual change - the struggle within - manifesting in blame towards anything and everything outside, as long as you don't need to take any of it on yourself. This has led to the apparent self victimization and also the need to appear completely different from others, no matter the cost towards societal cohesion. Or reason for that matter, as it's all about how YOU feel. What it really boils down to, is choice. <br /><br />All this is by design perhaps, but nevertheless with willing participation in it's development by everyone involved in the conversation. Needless to say, using your child as a stepping stone in ones individual mental development, isn't optimal parenting. <br /><br /> The third category - and in my mind the worst one, as mostly the previous two are mostly present in the mentally undevoped - is people willing to sacrifice their children in hopes of monetization, such as for example CEO's of social media companies or other's like them, in the psychological field of child molestation and/or exploitation. In their egoist pursuit for accolades and reinforcement of some elusive legacy, they forget and disregard their children completely; paradoxically, while in their <a href=\"https://www.minds.com/search?f=top&t=all&q=minds\" title=\"#minds\" class=\"u-url hashtag\" target=\"_blank\">#minds</a> reflecting on the children's best interests and futures.<br /><br /> Let's face it; a pathological egoist cannot see past their own reflection, while hatching plans for everyone else's future. <br />",

While it is important to feel a certain level of pride, it's no excuse for placing your child's face into circulation beyond your - let alone the child's later - control. As a parent, your first and only responsibility is to keep them out of harm's way; everyone - with a brain - understands the internet is neither safe or unharmful for children. \n\nSecond most common cause is seeking personal attention from others, in an otherwise relatively meaningless existence by awaiting positive reactions and in the hopes of attaining release towards whatever insecurities cause their anxieties. As I've said before, your own problems shouldn't be bestowed upon your children, but instead work towards solving them in their absence. Needless to say, using your child as a stepping stone in ones individual mental development, isn't optimal parenting. \n\n The third category - and in my mind the worst one, as mostly the previous two are mostly present in the mentally undevoped - is people willing to sacrifice their children in hopes of monetization, such as for example CEO's of social media companies or other's like them, in the psychological field of child molestation and/or exploitation. In their egoist pursuit for accolades and reinforcement of some elusive legacy, they forget and disregard their children completely; paradoxically, while in their #minds reflecting on the children's best interests and futures.\n\n Let's face it; a pathological egoist cannot see past their own reflection, while hatching plans for everyone else's future. \n",
