"content": "I have an appointment coming up with an orthopedic surgeon for a consultation on Feb. 12th. I should have a better idea after that, what kind of surgery they think I may need to have to try and correct some of these spine issues. I want to get a second opinion also. There is a Dr. Moran in Murfreesboro who is a neurosurgeon. He did a friend's cervical spine surgery and comes highly recommended. Mykal also has a doctor appt. tomorrow. We have several issues we need to address with Dr. Allie. One is his worsening (again) memory and confusion. Another is his fatigue. He seems to sleep 18-20 hours a day, and gets exhausted just going to a movie for 2 hours. He doesn't seem to be having a ton of pain, but is just completely wiped out all the time. I suspect it's time for his 6 month ultrasound to see how his liver looks. He had an appointment with a neurologist a few weeks ago, but we had snow and ice and couldn't make it, so they'll probably want to reschedule that. I also want to ask if there is a possibility that what's going on isn't so much Hepatic Encephalopathy, but Lewy Body Dementia. The symptoms seem to fit really well.",
