The whole slash and burn approach of the left now is appalling, We can talk later about what Mitch McConnell did to Meric Gardner later if you wish, however I can not believe you find it even remotely comparable in depth of depravity we have witnessed for the last 2 weeks.<br /><br />All of this, the censorship on campus and in other venues is completely backed and supported by the left and notably funded by Soros and I am sure others. This does not mean the right does not profit from it, just that this current incarnation of totalitarianism is like in history being started by the left. And the democrats do nothing against it.<br /><br />I will voice my fears at the end…<br /><br />BK was not my favorite choice on trumps list for scotus. That being said, what has happened to him and his family has been unconscionable. my opinion as I said before, trump picked him in particular precisely because he knew this circus would take place. Very very cynical political calculation, and yet the democrats jumped into this trap with both feet.<br /><br />For gods sake: EVERYONE know there would be a full scale shit show with whomever trump nominated. What was schumer and feinstein thinking??? That trump would ask them for a list of democratic party approved nominee’s? Really? Schumer is from NY, he knows trump better than that.<br /><br />So if they keep BK off the court, then what? Trump is going to pick a more “acceptable” candidate? In what universe? And then what? RBG dies or retires, then there are 2 open seats. They going to push this until 2020 Make it a presidential election issue? Was that their “grand strategy”? In what universe does this work out well???<br /><br />So trump has a built in re-election campaign in 2020??? Antifa, sjw marches, capital sit ins and shouting at senators “you don’t care about my victimhood” (by paid agitators of course)…. This is there strategy? Forcing the secret service to protect his entire cabinet??? Again, it what universe does this work out well.<br /><br />At the same time, I can not damn trump for his cynically using BK in this way without FIRST damning the vile acts of the democratic party. It raises my bile so much that I am forced to take the gop side. I hate that I am pushed this direction.<br /><br />I stand by my view he will be confirmed, and my opinion it will lead to 4 more GOP senators next year, possibly more. I have placed my bets already. Predictit is my latest obsession. I love that I can hedge my bets: I placed bets on the republicans having, 50,51, 52, 53… all the way to 60 senate seats come January. With my largest bets on 54-56. For the house, I bet similarly on a republican majority: 219—225, 226-230, etc all the way to 251+ again with the largest bets from 231-245. (they currently have 241 I believe) Kind of a bell curve sort of thing.<br /><br />These are not a wish list: these are my bets on what I think will happen.<br /><br />With the BK fiasco I am tempted to increase my bets, but I actually included that in my calculations before it happened. It was incredibly predictable months ago.<br /><br />I voted against Trumps opponent. I would have voted for the devil himself against hrc. I have followed her since Dec. 1991. I was not against Bill -- I voted against HRC. My record: 1988 Ron Paul on libertarian ticket. 1992 and 1996 I voted Harry brown on the libertarian ticket. The last time I voted republican was the second Reagan administration. And I bitterly regretted it 4 years later as it gave us bush senior. The Bushes and the clintons are from the same sewer, in my not so humble opinion. <br /><br />In 2000 and 2004 I don't remember who was running nor if I even voted. Sorry, my brain damage is showing... LOL However I am sure I did not vote for a bush, ever. Again slime from the same sewer and Clinton. It is likely I voted libertarian, I just don’t remember who was running.<br /><br />Sadly Harry Browne died during that time period.<br /><br />2008, 2012 I voted for Ron paul; 2016 primaries I voted for Rand Paul.. But the democrats put up HRC. If they had put up ANYONE else, I would not even bothered to vote republican. Most likely I would have followed George Carlin advice: and simply take a front row seat at the freak show. But the demcrats forced me to actually vote for Trump.<br /><br />For god's sake, I have been happy with my pathologic dislike of new yorkers. Trump periodically reinforces my dislike of new yorkers. And the democratic party forced me to vote for trump. The irony of this is bitterly delicious. <br /><br />Do you remember Merrick Garland? If you look online he and Bret Kavanaugh sided 95% of the time. They are both on the DC court of appeals. Mind you, I did a couple of quick searches on this but I did not read their opinions nor their complete voting record. There might be significant differences within those cases where they disagreed. <br /><br />But I doubt it. So I find this whole judicial thing to be disingenuous for the most part. Ruth Bader Ginsburg had a very interesting interview recently regarding what is happening. To see her and listen to her views teared me up. While her speech was a bit slow, she was bright eyed and clear spoken. I recommend you look for it on youtube.<br /><br />The issue I have at this point with the dems, is they seem to be hell bent to take a hard turn to crazy town. Schumer, Feinstein (who I have followed since her first appointment to be mayor of San Francisco). She is a vile vile loon. (I had just moved to San Francisco at that time). She was mocked by virtually everyone at the time, so when she went onto \"greater things\" everyone locally was overjoyed she was gone at the time. Falls under “be careful what you wish for”…<br /><br />MY FEARS<br /><br />The loon left will kill trump (or the intelligence agencies will do so a la kenedy) with it’s own “warren commission”. Then we get PENCE and the American Law and Order Act. Like the patriot act, only domestic. It will be BI-PARTISEAN of course, like the patriot act was.<br /><br />It will have extensive hate speech provisions of course, “sensible gun control” EVEN MORE RAPE OF HABEAS CORPUS and codified domestic spying. Everything the police state dreams of. Just as the patriot act allows rendition and “enhanced interrogation” so will the LAW AND ORDER ACT.<br /><br />Like the Patriot Act, accusation makes you a domestic terrorist, with limited rights (if any). The dems will insist on it. The already are say BK whether guilty or not should not be approved because he was accused. Watch the Hawaii senator, what the entire senior senator crew in the democratic party.<br /><br />Before you think I am one sided, if this travesty happens president pence will sign it into law.<br /><br />Is this a prediction?
