Maybe this is why most people did not notice that we are going back into a time of repression, worse than that of World War 2 and the Third Reich.<br />Most people may think Adolf Hitler, or one of his followers is the inventor of the Concentration Camp, when in fact it was his opponent, Winston Churchill. He gathered Afrikaans Boeren in camps, mostly women and children, to force the men to stop opposing the English occupying forces of Africa, notably of Southern Africa.<br /><br />But yes, the Concentration Camps have become famous when Hitler and his followers started setting up more or less permanent camps for Jewish, Gay, Roma and otherwise different people who he thought and said were the cause of the German economic demise after the First World War.<br /><br />Many people knew it was going on, and many knew exactly what was going on in those camps. People were put on hard labor schedules to in fact kill them and they were actively killed in gas chambers and in many other, even more horrible ways. Medicines were tested on the population of Concentration Camps, even chemicals with known adverse effects. Bayer is one of the industries still benefiting from this so called “scientific research”.<br /><br />But that is not my point here. My point is that we have not learned from our history. We know that bullies are not the best politicians, but we keep voting for bullies, because they look powerful, rich and seem to have a good plan for the future of the country. Slogans like “Make America Great Again” are used to ‘prove’ the truth of the good plans. During the Second World War slogans, like Arbeit Macht Frei, and ‘Deutchland Über Alles’ were also used to wave pictures of a good, strong and happy Germany in the face of influenceable Germans.<br /><br />But today something even worse is going on. Donald Trump and his “minister of Justice” Jeff Sessions are using the dull phase people are in at this moment, caused by an overfill of football, to lock children up in Concentration Camps. Separated from their parents and loved ones they are locked away in specially designated facilities, used only and in a concentrated manner for children of so called illegal immigrants, mostly of Hispanic or other, colored, non white descent. Worst of all is that Jeff Sessions has misquoted the Bible to supposedly justify his decision to lock the children up, separated from parents and family.<br /><br />This should not be possible in this day and age, we, the population of our world, must not accept this! School bullies, rapists and power mongers like Trump, who as President of the United States is responsible for all that his cabinet does, and Religious Bigots like Jeff Sessions have no place in our society.<br /><br />The world has seen enough violence, abuse and misuse of others, just because they have a different political, religious or sexual reference. Dat bordje geeft aan dat mensen met een handicap, zwangere vrouwen en ouderen voor mogen gaan.<br /><br />Meestal probeer i k dat bordje te negeren en stel me gewoon op als laatst binnengekomen persoon, ik sluit netjes achter aan.<br />Maar er is altijd wel iemand die me wijst op mijn wandelstok en mijn verhoogde schoenzool en die er op staat dat ik voor ga.<br /><br />En dan komt de reden waarom ik probeer het bordje te negeren; de blikken.<br />Mensen kijken naar me en de blikken variëren van boos tot heel erg boos, alleen maar omdat ik voor mag gaan.<br /><br />Het is bepaald geen eer voor te mogen gaan.<br /><br />Ik heb inderdaad een handicap, maar kijk alsjeblieft niet alsof ik het zelf gedaan heb, met opzet om niet te hoeven wachten in een rij. Het was een ongeluk en ik heb nu een stalen heup en een been dat te kort is. Dat doet pijn en ik kan niet zo goed lopen. Maar ik heb het mijzelf niet aangedaan om niet in de rij te hoeven wachten.<br /><br />Voorgaan kan me soms helpen de dingen die jullie doen zonder erbij na te hoeven denken, met meer moeite en wat hulp ook te kunnen doen. Dat is wat ik wil, gewoon de gewone dingen doen. In de rij staan is gewoon.<br /><br />Kijk me niet aan alsof u me zielig vindt.<br /><br />Ik ben niet zielig, ik ben een mens, net als u. Ik waardeer het wanneer u me wilt helpen, maar ik heb die hulp niet altijd nodig. Het is niet leuk anders te zijn en het maakt mijn leven niet makkelijker.<br /><br />De wandelstok is geen speelgoed.<br /><br />Ik ben wie ik ben, het korte been is een deel van mij en de wandelstok helpt me, ik heb die nodig . Wanneer u met kinderen in dezelfde rij staat als ik, zorg er dan voor dat uw kinderen niet met mijn wandelstok gaan spelen. Net als een paar krukken, een rolstoel of een hulphond is mijn wandelstok een hulpmiddel en geen speelgoed.<br /><br />Vragen staat vrij.<br /><br />Ook eerlijke vragen, van kinderen meestal, over waarom mijn schoenen verschillend zijn, of waarom een voet een beetje 'raar' is. Kinderen stellen die vragen gewoon omdat ze willen weten. En daar is niets mis mee. <br /><br />Mag een volwassene dat niet vragen?<br /><br />Ja, natuurlijk wel. Als u echt geinteresseerd bent in het behoorlijk ingewikkelde verhaal van mijn linker been, vraag dan gerust. Maar liever niet in het openbaar, dus wanneer ik in die rij sta te wachten.<br />Denkt u dat ik of een andere persoon met een handicap hulp nodig heeft, vraag daar dan naar. Niemand zal zo dom zijn eerlijk aangeboden hulp te weigeren als die nodig is. symptoms of this disease who had recently arrived in the country.<br /><br />Hospitals in the country carry out vaccination days for their medical and administrative staff, as ordered by the Ministry of Health, which two weeks ago issued the epidemiological alert for diphtheria.<br /><br />Diphtheria is an infectious disease caused by a bacterium that lodges in the throat and is transmitted from person to person, usually from an elderly person to a minor.<br /><br />Among the hospitals that responded to the call for public health is the Traumatológico Ney Arias Lora, in Santo Domingo, said in its Twitter account, that \"it is better to prevent than to regret\".<br /><br />For its part, the Dominican Medical Association (CMD) published through social networks messages addressed to the population about the symptoms of the disease and preventive measures.<br /><br />Although the Ministry of Health issued the epidemiological alert for the disease, a representative said that \"there is no reason for the population to be alarmed\" as, he explained, \"epidemiological alerts are issued with the aim of prevention, to prepare ways to avoid outbreaks and generate the answers to the threat. \"<br /><br />\"The alert was issued due to the proximity and existence of border crossings with Haiti, where an outbreak dating from 2014 has generated several cases of diphtheria,\" he "Will Republicans and Democrats reach a deal?<br /><br />First of all, the fact that politics in the United States really only knows two political parties is an omen for failure in itself. In most if not all European countries the possibilities to express a political opinion are not limited to two, even Great Britain has its Independent Party.<br /><br />To divide the vision of your world in two camps is bound to produce only conflicts with no solution in sight. If a voter can only vote on two, not so distinctly and clearly different political parties, the problem of holding the interest of the voters cannot be solved. Voters are now only interesting for politicians in election times. After an election has been won, even a president of the United States can very much do as he pleases, even go and play golf all weekends.<br /><br />Democracy means in fact that the people, demos, rule a country or a city. The notion of elected officials holding all encompassing power is in fact contrary to the idea of democracy. The politicians in the United States, and in other countries, are well aware they are in fact bosses over a fake system, a so called democracy, where influence over things that happen in a country is but a once in a four or five year period event that has nothing to do with the influence of the people on those events.<br /><br />As both the Democratic Party as it is now, and the Republican party only want to keep the system running for as long as possible, because living off the taxes of other people is easy, they will reach an agreement somehow. As long as Donald Trump, a showman and television host, is ‘in charge’ there will be a lot of show around the deal-making and of course he will take the merits for reaching the deal, but it is sure a deal will be reached.<br /><br />Should Republicans and Democrats reach a deal?<br /><br />No, they should not! Democrats should stand behind the original ideas behind democracy and blow up any possibility for a deal with Trump in charge. He has reached his goal, be the biggest bully in the country, by shady means to say the least. People are suffering because of his fake leadership.<br />Families are torn apart because he and his follow bullies think a dad should not be with his children if he is from another country.<br /><br />They forget that the United States of America historically was built by immigrants, from all over the world. They forget that their father, grandfather or great-grandfather was himself an immigrant. They forget that European immigrants did not build the county by themselves, they were helped by Native Americans. Who never asked for any documents! The actual nation-building, the physical labor was done mostly by immigrants from Africa, forced immigrants at that.<br />And no, nobody asked them if they had any documents.<br /><br />The political system of two political parties is doomed to break apart. Not reaching another temporary deal with the Trump bullies could speed up the decline, but reaching a deal will not stop the decline, although it might slow it down. In most if not all European countries the possibilities to express a political opinion are not limited to two, even Great Britain has its Independent Party.<br /><br />To divide the vision of your world in two camps is bound to produce only conflicts with no solution in sight. If a voter can only vote on two, not so distinctly and clearly different political parties, the problem of holding the interest of the voters cannot be solved. Voters are now only interesting for politicians in election times. After an election has been won, even a president of the United States can very much do as he pleases, even go and play golf all weekends.<br /><br />Democracy means in fact that the people, demos, rule a country or a city. The notion of elected officials holding all encompassing power is in fact contrary to the idea of democracy.
