"content": "(hope it's OK to ask for a feature request in this group) \r<br />\r<br />Background: A recent HBO VICE report on the charitable-industrial complex and how zero $$ went to the victims in Haiti [Plus] a blog from Peter Buffet last year ..well all this *theft* got me thinking about a feature request.\r<br />\r<br />Story: \r<br />- I(we) donate bitcoins from your site to some disaster relief account. \r<br />- all bitcoins gets converted to disasterX-tokens each day, and are then equally distributed to the victims (those stakeholders closest to the ground). \r<br />- Unfortunately you can’t use your 100k disasterX-tokens for sex, drugs or rock and roll. Instead these tokens are used as a voting mechanism that facilitate purchasing supplies, green lighting projects, etc. \r<br />- Toss in a few interlopers to ensure the contractors aren’t con artists.
