"content": "This is my first post since being completely transitioned over to MeWe. Things have gone far better than I expected, with many goals reached. I feel now the group of people who are involved here are much more passionate and motivated and as a whole, participating more so than they did on Facebook. For certain there were those types there too, who were more likely to see the long term futility of the place, and are hence here now. <br /><br />Anywho, this is a subject that has been on and off my mind for a while now. I can see it clearly, almost as if I were I prophet, except I'm simply using my mind. And I'm sure many of you will resonant with this message as well, as a higher percentage of thoughtful people seem to be gravitating to this platform. <br /><br />Succinctly put the source of our woes is a spiritual/moral deficiency magnified by a corrupted system which forever perpetuates said deficiency. The form this is taking is <a href=\"https://www.minds.com/search?f=top&t=all&q=Large_Monetary_Interests\" title=\"#Large_Monetary_Interests\" class=\"u-url hashtag\" target=\"_blank\">#Large_Monetary_Interests</a> who have hijacked our and many other governments around the world, and are globalizing their dysfunction till basically there are no governments run by the people to oppose them. <br /><br />To further compound the matter technology wise, especially in <a href=\"https://www.minds.com/search?f=top&t=all&q=Robotics\" title=\"#Robotics\" class=\"u-url hashtag\" target=\"_blank\">#Robotics</a> and <a href=\"https://www.minds.com/search?f=top&t=all&q=Artifical_Intelligence\" title=\"#Artifical_Intelligence\" class=\"u-url hashtag\" target=\"_blank\">#Artifical_Intelligence</a>, are going parabolically off the hook and are being used to further subject us. If we don't act now the pressures of all these factors will be too great for us to oppose and people will live out their existence in a <a href=\"https://www.minds.com/search?f=top&t=all&q=Neo_Technocratic_Serfdom\" title=\"#Neo_Technocratic_Serfdom\" class=\"u-url hashtag\" target=\"_blank\">#Neo_Technocratic_Serfdom</a> until the resources and the support system of the earth give out, and that will be it... at least for the human race. And even if we manage to muddle on however much longer that we can, it will be a miserable existence, and questionable as to whether or not it even worth it. <br /><br />So you can see it is of top priority that we focus on taking our governments back to take on and scale back, if we should allow them to exist at all, these psychopathic juggernaut human constructed entities. <br /><br />To do this we will need to demand <a href=\"https://www.minds.com/search?f=top&t=all&q=Direct_Democracy\" title=\"#Direct_Democracy\" class=\"u-url hashtag\" target=\"_blank\">#Direct_Democracy</a>, <a href=\"https://www.minds.com/search?f=top&t=all&q=Ranked_Choice_Voting\" title=\"#Ranked_Choice_Voting\" class=\"u-url hashtag\" target=\"_blank\">#Ranked_Choice_Voting</a>, <a href=\"https://www.minds.com/search?f=top&t=all&q=Progressive_Taxation\" title=\"#Progressive_Taxation\" class=\"u-url hashtag\" target=\"_blank\">#Progressive_Taxation</a>, and <a href=\"https://www.minds.com/search?f=top&t=all&q=Separation_of_Big_Money_and_State\" title=\"#Separation_of_Big_Money_and_State\" class=\"u-url hashtag\" target=\"_blank\">#Separation_of_Big_Money_and_State</a>. Mass manipulation has occurred throughout the ages in a variety of forms but never has it been in danger of being so complete that in the near future there will barely be anyone awake enough to tell anyone different.<br /><br />As it is Big money has wheedled its way into all our institutions. And not just the government and its agencies but \"educational\" system, NGOs, the Media, and of course in business.<br /><br />And if this weren't bad enough, they are and will continue to ramp up through the net not only with the propagation of corporate media, often through \"PR\" firms, not only with the usual suspects of industrial and government trolls, but most recently with bots and <a href=\"https://www.minds.com/search?f=top&t=all&q=artificial_intelligence\" title=\"#artificial_intelligence\" class=\"u-url hashtag\" target=\"_blank\">#artificial_intelligence</a>.<br /><br />This last piece is really going to crush any chance of our revolutionary spirit of overcoming if we don't get ahead of this thing, and fast. Bots and more so AI will be able to mimic realistic personalities, working day and night as well as to able to infinitely replicate themselves. They will dominate vote centric sites and make people feel they are of the minority opinion. And whatever is left that is real and true will be so suppressed that most will never see it, and those that do will be relegated to bubble communities.<br /><br />This is bad folks. I can't tell you how much so any more plainly. And this is why it is absolutely imperative to make it our first order of business under a <a href=\"https://www.minds.com/search?f=top&t=all&q=Direct_Democracy\" title=\"#Direct_Democracy\" class=\"u-url hashtag\" target=\"_blank\">#Direct_Democracy</a> to <a href=\"https://www.minds.com/search?f=top&t=all&q=Separate_Money_and_State\" title=\"#Separate_Money_and_State\" class=\"u-url hashtag\" target=\"_blank\">#Separate_Money_and_State</a>. And by separate money and state I mean separate Big Money's influence of state not just through the purchase of it's politicians, but also and even more importantly through the manipulation of the public's consciousness.<br /><br />I'm a lover of freedom of speech, but Big Money's covert operation of manipulating the public's mind set for their own political aims of control is not freedom of speech. It on the surface, for those of us who can see it, is propaganda. but it goes so much insidiously deeper..... and most be stopped else the state, and ultimately the welfare of the people, will be subverted.<br /><br />The second piece of this puzzle of separating money and state is through <a href=\"https://www.minds.com/search?f=top&t=all&q=progressive_taxation\" title=\"#progressive_taxation\" class=\"u-url hashtag\" target=\"_blank\">#progressive_taxation</a>. And by progressive taxation I don't mean that of the common man. Most of us are struggling financially and compromising ourselves on behalf of these same <a href=\"https://www.minds.com/search?f=top&t=all&q=Large_Monetary_Interests\" title=\"#Large_Monetary_Interests\" class=\"u-url hashtag\" target=\"_blank\">#Large_Monetary_Interests</a>. For most people I believe in very little taxation. However some individual's and related entities wealth has grown so Large that it not only have they subverted the power of the state but have already taken over its apparatuses using its institutions and our own tax dollars against us and victims around the world. It's become a real juggernaut of a force and it will take all of us ,fully awake, to stop it.<br /><br />This is truly who our enemy is and why we fight. By not recognizing this we only end up getting caught up in petty divisions in which their divide and conquer strategies continue to prove efficacious. But if we have the eyes to see who truly are the heads of this hydra, we can attack that instead wildly stabbing at anything around us. We can do this thing, but first things first.<br />",

"content": "On day 25 of our Campaign to End Facebook and I’d like to talk about organization. People have been trying to lead by example for aeons. Sure it’s good practice, but I honestly don’t think that’s going to cut it alone. <br /><br />MLK said something to the effect if we organized for peace like they’ve organized for war we wouldn’t be having this problem. I grossly paraphrased it, but that’s the general gist. And he’s right. We need not only to be passionate for the betterment of the world, not only strongly persistent, but we need to be highly organized. And honestly I don’t think the forces for good are as willing to put in that effort as much as the forces for evil. <br /><br />I think there are reasons for this. One of them is obviously money. Evil has pretty much cornered the majority of it along with its systems and can simply pay others to do the hard work of organizing and promoting for them. But another reason is because good people tend to be more free spirits and aren’t going to arduously sit through boring meeting after boring meeting. They want to enjoy life, stop to smell the roses, that type of thing. <br /><br />But evil is like what Stalin did. He was nicknamed captain iron pants, not necessarily because he was a hard character, but because he could sit through all those communist party meetings till he finagled his way to the Top. It is this type of steadfastness the environmental and many other related justice movements are missing....<br /><br />This is why I liked what Nader said. He has a plan. It would take 1% of people or less to commit to it. And I truly believe if we implemented and carried through what he said, we’d be relatively politically free today. <br /><br />But alas, it seems in Large part we’re not built this way. It’s either apathy or guillotine head chopping revolution. <br /><br />Well here’s for hoping for the evolution of political activism. There has been examples in history of it like with Gandhi and India’s Independence, MLK and civil rights, and Iceland’s Pots and Pans revolution. And they all had two main things in common. They had sufficient numbers of people who were persistent, and they were organized. They had a plan, worked together, and saw it be realized. <br /><br />We could do this again. But it’s going to take some thought....",

"content": "The theme for day 22 of our 90 day Campaign to End Facebook is how evil knows no prejudice in whom it infects, and in our political case is more of a systemic problem than it is an individual one. There just can't by happenstance be that many corrupt politicians as the vast majority of our politicians are caught up in the cycle of having to take the most funds possible to be able to win their races. <br /><br />I have a saying, politicians don't change Washington, Washington changes politicians. If we had state sponsored elections strictly barring influence from Big Moneyed Players political corruption would be more of an anomaly. So it's a waste of our time calling out how bad this one politician is, or that one, or the other. We need to get to the root of the problem and treat that or we'll forever being playing the political version of whack-a-mole. <br /><br />So let's talk about the meme and how it relates to this issue. This meme was a response to another meme who labeled the mother neoliberals, the child she was holding the worlds poor, and the drowning child America's working class. The issue isn't about conservative vs. liberal. That is a false dichotomy as true liberalism and conservatism has long since been purged as major associations from the political arena. What people think now is conservative or liberal is a false contrivance. <br /><br />Now it is better to seek to be progressive which one can do so from a liberal or conservative viewpoint. However I still think conservative and liberal progressive is also a false dichotomy as there can be crossover and nuance. It's best not to limit ourselves to only two choices as to ways to be politically. That again is a product of binary thinking. <br /><br />So truly be independent. "content": "The theme for day 22 of our 90 day Campaign to End Facebook is how evil knows no prejudice in whom it infects, and in our political case is more of a systemic problem than it is an individual one. There just can't by happenstance be that many corrupt politicians as the vast majority of our politicians are caught up in the cycle of having to take the most funds possible to be able to win their races. \n\nI have a saying, politicians don't change Washington, Washington changes politicians. If we had state sponsored elections strictly barring influence from Big Moneyed Players political corruption would be more of an anomaly. So it's a waste of our time calling out how bad this one politician is, or that one, or the other. We need to get to the root of the problem and treat that or we'll forever being playing the political version of whack-a-mole. \n\nSo let's talk about the meme and how it relates to this issue. More specifically I'd like to talk about what happens when you allow your government to become decidedly undemocratic.<br /><br />I know there are some governments so far gone and so incredibly evil than if they even are suspicious you have criticism for it they throw you and 3 generations of your family in concentration camp with hard labor, desperate conditions, and relatedly a high rate of death. Or some countries will simply just cut your head off! Yeah I'm not calling out those people as they don't have a lot of good choices at this point. And ironically I'd like to point out we've either fostered and or did things to help create the situations for such extremely tyrannical governments to exist.<br /><br />But in this country, at this point in history, we still have enough freedom left to stand up and say something and most often not suffer jail, torture, and or death. And you know what they say, use it or lose it.<br /><br />What's happening in Venezuela is the same type of thing that has happened at least since the 50's where we used psych ops to sow dissent and foster militant fractions to oppose a government or leader, then we fund and arm such oppositions. The next two steps are an aerial bombing campaign followed by if necessary sending in troops. All this is to take over natural resources, often oil, take reserves of gold, dismantle any system that opposes corporatism, and finally to sent up a privately held central bank.<br /><br />If you look throughout \"our\" history, most of which we've been at war, you can find many examples of this. The consequences of such are absolutely devastating and eventually come home to roost. There is a word for this. It is called <a href=\"https://www.minds.com/search?f=top&t=all&q=neocolonialism\" title=\"#neocolonialism\" class=\"u-url hashtag\" target=\"_blank\">#neocolonialism</a>. Know it and remember it well as it is a great evil we must resist. For if we don't fight like the dickens it will consume everything we love and cherish including financial security and stability. Only the worse of offenders will possibly be spared, and their cost in the end will be way beyond anything we will have to bear. As the saying goes, what does it profit a man to gain the world but lose his soul. And you don't have to be religious to understand what this means. <br /><br />So it is an imperative that we work ceaselessly to end this system that at best can be described as a deeply flawed_democracy. Let's use what vestiges it has left to take back control so that the people govern themselves and not the Large_Monetary_Interests who puppet our government behind the scenes. And how are we going to do that. Interestingly enough I just read about how Amazon, Jeff Bezos' company, who ironically happens to be the richest man in the world, paid no federal income tax. I'll let that sink in a moment....<br /><br />Though progressive taxation is supported by many, taxes at the top and for corporations keep seeming to plummet.... while taxation at the middle and lower ends arguably is picking up the slack. There are good reasons for taxation but if they aren't progressive they do more harm than good.
