"content": "WTF is a VCR???<br /><br /><br />I love when Youngins ask me this question. π<br /> <br />Years ago, I when I was MUCH younger, I went to the theater to enjoy movies and eat a bunch of junk food. Then something magical happened. The VHS and VCR became popular. In the 80's Blockbuster was a great place! It was amazing! We could get a group of friends together and browse rows and rows of different movies. With a group vote we could decide on two or three for movie night at home. True democracy in action! Then pick up pizza and stop by the grocery store for 2-liter sodas and bags of licorice and Reese's Pieces. Then be on the way home. Several movies and better food at a much lower cost than going to the theater for just one flick. Plus ... we could rewind and rewatch the \"good\" scenes. It probably wouldn't surprise anyone what kind of scenes would be watched over and over by a group of Teens π€£ <br /><br />Nothing says fun like a sugar hangover from an all-nighter on horror movies, soda and candy. <br /><br />I was all about saving money even back then. Along came streaming as a paid monthly membership. With seemingly unlimited stuff to watch at an extremely low cost. I found heaven on earth. OK maybe not that significant but allow me a little exaggeration. I haven't been to a theater in years. I haven't watched a VHS Tape in decades, times have changed.<br /><br />Now that I'm getting older, my health has become more important. No more binge nights chugging Mountain Dew, trying to recite the alphabet in one burp. I no longer eat junk food, but I still love π saving money π° and that's why I have a LiveGood membership. I save money on quality wellness products I was already buying somewhere else. I also enjoy affiliate marketing and making money. I figure Amazon has become a HUGE success and they started with selling books online through their affiliate network... look at them now! They sell just about everything imaginable including wellness products and a Streaming service with a Prime membership. LiveGood started with wellness products. Two years in... over a million memberships with annual sales higher than Amazon's first two years. <br /><br />Some people say \"Leo what are you doing? Affiliate marketing and Network Marketing are tough businesses and have a lot of competition. The only way for metamorphosis to happen is...<br />to be a GOOD caterpillar.<br /><br />That was not an easy lesson for me to learn. <br /><br />I've always been hyper focused on my future goals, forever looking forward. I wanted the end results \"NOW\". I didn't recognize the work that needed to be done in my \"present state\". I needed to break bad habits, learn fundamentals and build skills, before becoming the person that COULD reach those goals. Artists don't start with creating a masterpiece painting. They start with learning to draw circles and squares. <br /><br />After years of struggle, I finally took an honest assessment of where I was and what I needed to work on. I realized that I was being a terrible \"Caterpillar\". <br /><br />I started making small changes and created simple habits. I worked them every day. Each habit wasn't easy, especially when I wanted to change my health, fitness and finances. It took lots of repetition and time. I'm still on my journey but I've benefited from those habits. I've made lots of progress since I shifted my focus to \"what do I need to do today?\" <br /> <br />So, for now, I'm being the best Caterpillar I can be. <br />I can't force metamorphosis... <br />it can only happen when the conditions are right.<br /><br />Slow is smooth. Smooth is fast. ",

I had to edit to bring out the light and the picture looks flat and two dimensional compared to the DSLR but I still think it turned out pretty good.",
