These are just a few examples of course. There are more in the world today but i cannot name them all. As John Galt commented we should name the false teachers/teachings. I want to mention a few false teachers/teachings that will not save us but instead condemn us. Let us all stay clear of these teachings. I like to point out that i respect every person and i do not want to offend them or their religion but instead i just try to tell the truth according to God and the bible.<br /><br />1. Jesus is not God<br />This is a claim made by Jehova witness. They believe that Jesus is not fully divine and fully God. This is false as Jesus was fully man and fully God in the flesh when on earth. Jehova believe that Jesus is only a glorified angel. Anyone telling you this is a false teacher. Jehova also believe there are only 144000 people who can be saved and that they will become gods themselves. All false teachings. Everyone can be saved by the grace of God through Jesus Christ. (In the beginning was the Word (Jesus), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. John 1:1. The Word became flesh and made His dwelling among us. We have seen His glory, the glory of the one and only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth John 1:14)<br /><br />2. Jesus is not the Messiah and was not crucified<br />This is what the Muslims/Quoran tell you. They believe that Jesus is not God and not the Messiah. Instead they believe Jesus was just a prophet and nothing more. They also do not believe that Jesus was crucified. Even today some Jews do not believe that Jesus is the Messiah. (But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God and that by believing you may have life in his name. John 20:31)<br /><br />3. You do not need the cross of Jesus to be saved<br />Many people claim you do not need the cross to be saved or that there are many ways to go to heaven. Many say you can go to heaven because you are a \"good\" person or do good deeds or works. You cannot be saved by good works or deeds (yes, as a Christian you automatically want to do good deeds or works because without it your faith is dead). You can only be saved by Jesus Christ and His finished work on the cross. Jesus died for our sins and took on the punishment that we deserve and forgave us our sins through His blood and He rose again on the third day from the dead. You can add nothing to your salvation. It is the gift of God and the grace of God. Your faith in Jesus will save you. (For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. 1 Corinthians 1:18).<br /><br /> <br />4. Jesus was born in heaven and was not eternal and became Godly on earth.<br />This is what Mormons believe. That Jesus Christ was not eternal, that He was not there with God the Father from the beginning. They think He was born in Heaven by Heavenly Father and Heavenly Mother as the spirit brother of Lucifer and came to earth and then became Godly. Obviously this is not true. Jesus has always been with God the Father from the beginning. He was, is and will be God eternal. And Jesus is unique. He was God in the flesh born from the virgin Mary when He came to earth. Anyone telling you differently is a false teacher. (In the beginning was the Word (Jesus), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. John 1:1).<br /><br />5. Budhism or Hinduism are good religions to practice.<br />No they are not. Budhism or Hinduism use false gods that they pray to. They believe this will enlighten them and that they will reincarnate into another body after death each time they die. They do not believe in Heaven or Hell. These are false teachings which will not save you. (You shall have no other gods before Me. You shall not make for yourself an idol in the form of anything in the heavens above, on the earth below, or in the waters beneath. You shall not bow down to them or worship them. Deuteronomy 5:3-4).<br /><br />6. All people are good natured in their heart and all religions are paths to God.<br />Pope Francis once told these things. This is false and of course false teaching that can lead you in the wrong direction. All people are sinners and deserve punishment from God and no one is good not one. Only God is good. (The heart is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked, who can know it? (Jeremiah 17:9). <br /><br /><br />There is only one way to God and that is through Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior and what He did for us on the cross. It is false news. News that will not save you after you die. They claim you can be saved in various ways. We should be careful not to listen to such people but instead listen to the word of God in the bible. His words are truth. There is only one way to be saved. That is through faith in Jesus Christ our Savior who died for us on the cross to forgive us of our sins. Many of these false teachers exist today and try to deceive you.<br /><br />Jeremia 14:14<br />Then the Lord said, these prophets are telling lies in My name.
