Mr Paul, your assertion is very biased and subjective, demeaning and a cajoling of one's faith and practice without a proper reason. Your post sought no clarification but established a point of which you have already concluded.<br /><br />You are a scholar from religion, and you know how doctrines strengthens the faith in the christendom. <br /><br />The scriptures stand as a guide for every doctrine of the christendom, and these doctrines incorporates activities of a group of people share the same faith. <br /><br />No part of the most Holy Book, The Bible, has admonished mankind that corpse should be treated with disdain and scorn! If it has I would love to be enlightened. I guess that explains why even lazarus was buried, Christ Jesus was buried, and families bury their loves corpse with respect and love.<br /><br />Who defines the christian ethics? And where are these ethics explicitly stated to justify your claims as one's faith is unacceptable and barbaric ? <br /><br />This said practice you have condemned according to your beliefs and faith without justification has genuine reasons for its continuity till date. <br /><br />I believe you snap pictures, just like the one you have on your facebook profile here, you have saved photos of your loved ones, you attend events and snap, and later on watch after a years have passed to recall and have a sense of connection. <br /><br />People take photos of loved ones, or even their pieces of cloths to prayer houses to pray with it and see that as a means of connection to the owners of those item as a point of contact while they pray intercessory prayers for them.",

"content": "Leadership And Academic Expertise.<br /><br />The best leadership will be achieved if both academic expertise and one's personal attributes (positive) work simultaneously to pursue a common goal.<br /><br />But, the general assertion that one's academic excellence is a whole guarantee to excel in leadership has loop holes. <br /><br />One can argue, the early men did have no academic expertise yet they stood the trials of time, led both families and larger communities in one of the most honourable ways they could.<br /><br />Thus, it will be out of place if we consider only academic expertise over one's personal attributes such as selflessness, humility, listening skills, courage, dedication, impartiality, persuasive and motivational skills etc.<br /><br />And truth be told, the field of academia is one leverage in leadership excellence. Because in it, one learns in enormous diversity what could be applied in this pragmatic world to bring about the best of leadership style. <br /><br />Talking of best of leadership style? I think situational theory of leadership asserts categorically clear that we have no best style of leadership but we have leaders and situations. We just need to find a leader with desired attributes to suit a situation and become effective. <br /><br />Install a dummy on a pretext of equity while in your cupboard sentiments and self aggrandizement are the core subject matter upon which your submission was made and reality will tell you, you are far beyond the days of King JaJa of Opobo, Usman dan Fodio and myths.",
