The National Pencil Factory superintendent (Leo Frank), a night watchman (Newt Lee), a trolley driver (Arthur Mullinax) and a factory worker (James Gannt) have been arrested in connection to the murder of a young factory girl on April 26, 1913. Newspapers printed extra after extra, sometimes twice a day, to bring the details of the case to the public. As the details of the event unfolded, the public was divided as to who did the horrific deed.
