"content": "<br />Officially we are more or less Covid free, as we don't test in general and did not issued mass testing at any point and basically our government doing nothing against Covid by choice. Our president recommending until today to wash hands and never recommend masks or getting tested and anything mandatory like the mask, even after his infection stating that he will not wear a mask in the future because they are less useful than washing hands. Bars and clubs were open all the time like everything else. Beside in Mexico City they need to prove to the world and had also one lock-down and bars closed (officially) and so on, but no one got tested just for the reason to perform test and they did not want to know or have any data. Outside of Mexico City everything stayed the same, even in big cities like Acapulco everything stayed open. Mexico City is the economical and financial center and they feared about that being taken out, but nothing happened.<br /><br />Everyone from any country in the world can enter Mexico without a Covid test and since 2019, no matter if China or even Wuhan. And we don't test anyone on arrival since 2019, not even the Wuhans. How useful can this test be and how much danger to expect? They don't even care to find out. Mainstream media sayed Mexico is the country with the second highest death rate worldwide and because of Covid and we got hit hard, while we were hitting hard in the clubs shaking our ass to it and party like Obama. Meanwhile our President recommended washing hands and mask as not being useful, while assumed millions died in mainstream media. But we did not find out because we don't test anyone on arrival and no one for no reason at home. Nothing changed after that and life went on until today in the old normal. <br /><br />Based on other countries and regulations you are scammed in such a big way by your government compared to regulations here. Borders were never closed and nothing changed because of Covid and somehow they did not even fear the planes from China. All international flights stayed open until now, but the countries on the other side stopped most, we did not cancel any of them and not to China. How less authoritarian can you be during these times as government? And no one complains about the government being careless and killing us by doing so. Like they did not buy it in the first place like other governments and and while Covid hit the rest of the world people here went to bars as crowded as before and no mask in sight and boys and girls dancing and kissing each other.<br /><br />Like that we have everything open and no mandatory masks or vaccines. We don't test, only when life is at risk or nothing could be diagnosed before in other tests, so one gets officially diagnosed with Covid only for such reasons and not upfront. Our President seeing masks as tool of power and control and up to personal decision. No mass hysteria created and we don't hate each other. Government and doctors not adverting or even asking for symptoms of Covid since the start. For that they don't push any vaccines in advertisement or recommendation, you will not find the word vaccines anywhere promoted. Doctors don't even speaking it up nor offer you any, they are not pushing it even for the money. Thanks to our president skeptical about Covid and the mask and the symptoms, they never build up any agenda or emergency plan out of it but just let it flow and doing..yes..nothing. So yes I can honestly say when I see what is going on with the passports and forced vaccines and now one here knows about that here. Beside the masks nothing changed, people behave the same and they same. No laws or regulations out of it that are mandatory and the president recommending washing hands, but not masks. After he got tested positive and hospitalized, he stated that he will still not wear a mask now. He still finds them not better working then washing his hands. Must sound like from another planet to you, right? It is reality here, what should I say. Nobody knows how crazy it is in your countries and my fellow Mexicans never cared about anything outside of Mexico, they don't care now too, and Covid did not change that. <br /><br />Paranoid people buy random tests-kits because they don't get one from the doctor or in the hospital and diagnose themselves and that they had 2 times Covid after they tried out the test-kit to see how it works. And gladly they found out thanks to the test-kit and that they work.But they did not visit a doctor after that because they were feeling well, like before the test, jajaja. And the doctor not performing a test only because of some test-kit from China said so, while feeling well in general.<br /><br />No one talks about the Vaxx, only some go to the doctor and pay for their shot out of their one pocket. People don't ask about that status, even the Vaxxers keep it their own decision. No one will every ask you for a Covid test and the most stupidest thing to do, no one can provide any and the healthcare system will not test you only because you want one. So governments behave like too different and I know few countries that don't require tests when you want to enter them as an outsider and our government no interest to play the worldwide game on that level. <br /><br />In general society is very healthy and Covid did not change us or split us apart. If you mask or not mask, Vaxx or don't, its up to you. Also the paranoid will accept it and leave you the way you are and have no ammo after that based on no infections happening. I don't use a mask only like in Walmart, but not in public transport or the crowded market. No one of my daily surrounding got sick over the last maybe 6 months, and only one case know inside my surrounding that got sick. No one gets sick no one to blame for it and non maskers are getting more and more again.<br /><br />Our President said masks are useless but free to decide, but not mandatory, rather a tool of power and control. Some use them and some not, some big shops like Walmart ask for them, others do not. You take your mask down as soon as you are inside public transportation. Because outside it is written that it is mandatory, but inside nothing is written. I have never seen that one citizen telling another to wear his mask or put a mask on. <br /><br />We eat Tacos in the crowd with strangers on the street, and we eat with our hands, touching the same spoons for sauces and toppings all day and good street tacos have 100+ clients per hour. No one use any spray or cleans them until they are really dirty or until the evening. Plates do net get cleaned, they got wrapped some thin plastic around and because they can not dish wash on the street and don't have time for that. Every plate is covered to avoid dirt on the upper side, the downside is not closed and the same 20-30 plates circulate until the evening getting touched by everyone on the downside. As we eat with our hands and fingers around or inside your mouth is just normal when picking up a piece of tomato on the plate. People can't and don't was hands on the street and it gets nasty sometimes with the sauce. Everyone pays cash after that and cards are not welcome nor accepted in general. Everyone is death now...like not. To be honest we have a good resistance by nature because we let it all in and are used to it. People don't get sick in Mexico in general. No flue seasons for most parts, no viral infections spreading. One part my be that everyone eats and likes hot and chilis used without asking if you want them on top. But based on science and how we handle tacos and Covid does not get transported by that way. So can it spread like wildfire in every other place while distancing and doing everything right?<br /><br />Most get sick on a individual level and never blame others \"I caught it from them\". We use the bus system like crazy for it is so cheap and we don't make dirt in the bus so no one needs to clean them. The markets are also now full and people cluster at points, no one is distancing on these spots and in the public transportation nothing changed. The one with the most contact to others, but people alone on the street with shield and mask do. Well, you got the whole spectrum in Mexico.but most are running around with the mask on their chin or at least nose free. <br /><br />The margins for goods are as minimal as possible for everything you buy, people don't buy it if it is one peso higher then elsewhere. We have unwritten price standards for everything and nobody can rip someone off by that. If you want to open a shop or restaurant you just do it and how you want it. Prices are low because no need for papers or contracts, people make their cut and have low effort. <br /><br />You can take electricity from the street and no one cares, prices are low anyway. We have rather the opposite of communism and everyone minding his one business. Every day people go on the street and build up a table and just sell what they can offer and do best. You can buy everything on the street, really everything. Its about getting the best spots on the street and not that far away to some power pole. We modify some and equip them with dozens 110 Volt hubs so everyone around can connect their stuff too. The inner cities are crowded every day and every sidewalk of the street. Everyone knows..nothing, nobody asks for papers or any registration nor money.<br /><br />When you buy from Walmart, Gasoline, Beer, Coca Cola or pay your Internet or other service there is a tax on it and it is more than enough for the government and they should be grateful for that. You pay that too, but extra on top for being scammed. You can visit a doctor for free in Mexico, he is part of the pharmacy and gets payed by them. You can buy cigarettes in the pharmacy , Cola, Ice or mobile phone credit. Everyone knows it is a business like every other.<br /><br />You can order from any shop or restaurant to any place, just tell them you are sitting in the park near the statue and they will bring it. Sim-cards are anonym by nature in Mexico, you just buy them activated and no one will even ask your name.<br /><br />The mainstream media does not want you to know, and Mexico has a bad reputation. Maybe they want to hide how much autonomy we have, paying no taxes, open any business next day want and do what we want in general. Violence is very low and no one is aggressive but rather to layed back and not caring about anything. The violence from the cartels stays inside their circle, people don't get shoot in Mexico for no reason. Criminality like theft is common, but it is always about the money and not the violence used. People don't shoot each other like in the US, if they do likely cartel members, narcos, traffickers or anything related to money. Random violence does not happen here because only because people want to cause it, they don't want and only a valid reason. Mexico is very Mexican and foreign communities basically not existent and play no role. No conflicts in ethnics and everyone identifying as part of the society. We don't have Nazis and no Antifa, nobody cares because we are all Mexicans. I am not aware of any protests, beside protesting against the government and laws they put out in general. There is no ideological movement and no one I know is interested in politics in general. People don't talk about ideas from Hitler and not Marx, they don't care having any of that in Mexico. And they don't know and don't care what is happening in the rest of the world and will not show interest if you tell them anything. And we don't test anyone on arrival since 2019, not even the Wuhans. How useful can this test be and how much danger to expect? They don't even care to find out. No one use any spray or cleans them until they are really dirty or until the evening. Plates do net get cleaned, they got wrapped some thin plastic around and because they can not dish wash on the street and don't have time for that. Every plate is covered to avoid dirt on the upper side, the downside is not closed and the same 20-30 plates circulate until the evening getting touched by everyone on the downside. As we eat with our hands and fingers around or inside your mouth is just normal when picking up a piece of tomato on the plate. People can't and don't was hands on the street and it gets nasty sometimes with the sauce. Everyone pays cash after that and cards are not welcome nor accepted in general.
