The sling is a little worn but still looking just fine.\n\nThe bayonet is that of a single edge blade and like the rifle it looks great! Showing it’s age only slightly, the scabbard is fully intact as is the handle and the blade has only slight imperfections, still retaining a fine shine. The stamps are faded but tell us this bayonet was made by “Neuhausen”.\n\nTruly an awe inspiring example of European engineering, this rifle would most certainly make for a fine collectors piece.\n\nI have more like this for sale on my website so if you are interested in such things please visit https://authenticantiquearms.co.uk/\n\nhttps://authenticantiquearms.co.uk/product/antique-swiss-schmidt-rubin-m1889-military-rifle-with-muzzle-cover-sling-bayonet-2/", "mediaType": "text/plain" } }, "id": "https://www.minds.com/api/activitypub/users/1250141521114570756/entities/urn:activity:1564393442988003331/activity" } ], "id": "https://www.minds.com/api/activitypub/users/1250141521114570756/outbox", "partOf": "https://www.minds.com/api/activitypub/users/1250141521114570756/outboxoutbox" }
