"content": "Transitioning to natural fiber blankets introduces new, time-honored care methods. <br /><br />Today, I took advantage of the fluffy snow to \"snow-wash\" my sheepskin blanket. Snow has a unique ability to lift dirt, oils, and debris from wool. <br /><br />The ice crystals in snowflakes have naturally rough, angular edges that help dislodge particles from the fibers. <br /><br />I covered my blanket in fresh, clean snow, scrubbed it gently, then hung it up to air out.
