It's a kind of nightmare in which everything goes wrong for the heroine and she's forced to look to various mostly unpromising men for rescue (hence the title). The problem is not just that most of the many men who want to help her are unreliable or weird, but that she's also trapped by her own female selectiveness and high standards - something the film treats sympathetically, but which definitely aids her descent into helplessness and misery. The (happy) ending is the kind that most women surely still dream of - despite a quarter of a century of propaganda telling them that what they really want is independence...<a href=\"https://m.imdb.com/title/tt0311841/\" target=\"_blank\">https://m.imdb.com/title/tt0311841/</a>",

The time is pretty typical of my performances at this distance - I think my best was about 2:04 and my slowest maybe 2:31. I'm actually quite interested in how low down I come in these races, even for my age group, since I like to think I'm pretty fit for a 42-year-old. (I do some form of exercise most days.)<br />I try to remind myself that people who sign up for half-marathons are probably fitter than most of the population, but I do see a lot of people overtaking me that certainly *look* less fit than me.
