"content": "Arduino Components Arrived<br />New parts have arrived! Including a new Arduino Uno R4 Minima. Usually, I would get an Arduino Uno R4 Wifi, but the wireless was not needed for this test.<br /><br />The main advantage this has over the classic Arduino Uno is the powerful Arm Cortex M4 microcontroller, and a serial UART that is fully independent from the USB serial. I've heard however that the USB serial has priority over the UART on Pins 0 and 1 in the default library and also takes up plenty of time before the pin 0/1 interrupt gets serviced. So far, I can't tell if this was ever addressed in the latest library update, so I might set aside some time to test and document it as well. ",

The improved version (LE-7A) has improved reliability, operability, and lower costs for the satellite launch market.<br /><br />This one was on display at the National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation (aka: the Miraikan). Liquified Natural Gas (LNG) represents a critical part of Japan's energy grid, so of course I had to visit the Gas Science Museum in Tokyo's Koto City. Parking and entry were free to visitors, and this spot is just 25 minutes away from the Museum of Emerging Sciences if you take the automated Yurikamome train.<br /><br />When the gas is cooled to -162 °C (-260 °F), it condenses into a liquid with a volume of only 1/600th of its original form.<br /><br />I'm not an expert on ships, but I believe the real-life vessel is a 300 meter (328 yard) Kawasaki Heavy Industries LNG Carrier. LNG ships can be longer than an aircraft carrier!<br /><br />These are engineered to carry natural gas long distances across the world.
