We actually have one more day to work on it but since my internet is so slow, I will have to upload the short animation and larger files overnight.<br /><br />For the scene I modeled a scythe, a background and some dust clouds and added them to the scene. There will only be one animation where you can see Teana in 360 degree rotation. I didn't have enough time to do a dynamic animation like a short fight scene. I would have had to edit each frame individually and my computer is struggling to get everything stable. So here is a summary of the last week<br /><br />Day 1: Creating the basic model and the face. I sat on the hands for a long time and in the end I was still not satisfied. I decided to do it all over again the next day.<br /><br />Day 2: I redid the hands and modeled the first armor parts. I wanted to make the armor first, because then I can work better with the drapery.<br /><br />Day 3: Made the clothes and started to assign a material to each object. No textures have been used up to this point.<br /><br />Day 4: The hair... I created 4 different hair types and set each strand individually. That was a lot of work, I tell you. When I modeled the hair, I had to think about Jojo-Bizzar adventure the whole time... I do not know why...<br /><br />Day 5: A lot of finishing work. I made the first attempts with the shader and watched some tutorials about it and tried a lot. Unfortunately, I didn't really find anything that got me anywhere great. I also cleaned up the model a bit.... Arc System Works has over 100 people working on such animations for months and I'm alone and inexperienced... but full of motivation!<br /><br />I am curious how far I will get. I want to get the character model ready and rigged so that it can be used for animation. Moreover, it's not very performant... at least I can use it to represent something reminiscent of cartoon hair.
