"content": " Sometimes we think that Dad is a title, a pronoun or an adjective. To some it might be a hat to be worn around their children but not wen with their friends. To some it is just a term, but to me it is identity’s reality. Being a Dad is about sacrifice, it is about being a provider and sustainer and protector. Until your children are old enough to understand right and wrong before God, you are their standard and example of Right so it will Behoove a dad to be as right as he can be and when he is wrong to admit it quickly and apologize. You are <a href=\"https://www.minds.com/search?f=top&t=all&q=Dad\" title=\"#Dad\" class=\"u-url hashtag\" target=\"_blank\">#Dad</a> and you need to be a good <a href=\"https://www.minds.com/search?f=top&t=all&q=Husband\" title=\"#Husband\" class=\"u-url hashtag\" target=\"_blank\">#Husband</a> to Mom in order to be a Good Dad. Be an Example and be their Shield and defender. God is Abba to us and do we need to be Abba to our children. Listen to their Prayers snd let them see you Pray. Dry their tears and let them see that you too can cry. <br /><br /> Dad let them see how hard you work but don’t let them know all your problems. If your poor , don’t tell them, if your Hungry be sure to the best of your ability don’t let them be. If your wealthy, great be Humble and thankful. Be Content and let them not worry, they will have a lifetime to deal with problems and you will be there for them then as well as when they are still young. <br /><br /> Dad, you will walk Daughter down the isle and she will have a name that the world and her husband will know her by but to Dad she will always be Daughter. Dad you will be there for Son as well and when he Chooses wife she will see in Him not only Husband but a future Dad. <br /><br />“Husbands, love your wives, and be not bitter against them. Fathers, provoke not your children to anger, lest they be discouraged. And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.”<br />Colossians 3:19, 21, 23-24 KJV<br /><br />“Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.
