I'm here cause I believe that the attempts to understand one another and bridge connections will lead to the world becoming a much brighter and better place.<br /><br />There's so much to learn from one another, regardless of political ideology, ethnicity, etc. <br />The more we learn, the closer we get to reality and the better we can shape that reality into something prettier than what we currently have.<br /><br />This is one of the first steps in reaching unity, hopefully a unity through decency. <br />My conviction here, or what I judge people by, is whether they are good or evil, regardless of their group identity. <br /><br />If a communist, a nazi, an anarchist, liberal and a conservative can agree that rape is wrong, that kidnapping children is wrong, that mutual free speech and allowed individuality is the way forward. <br />Which isn't hard things to agree on.<br />We can take up the banner to fix those things, we can unite, small group minorities can become a majority and fight against the worst evils in this world.<br /><br />That way, although we can't truly get all we want, we can all make the world a better place.<br /><br />Thanks for reading my somewhat unstructured post.<br /><a href=\"https://www.minds.com/search?f=top&t=all&q=unitedwearestrong\" title=\"#unitedwearestrong\" class=\"u-url hashtag\" target=\"_blank\">#unitedwearestrong</a><br />I hope for a world where one can be himself and reach his full potential without having to be crushed by the group. <br />I hope for a world where we can talk to one another, not kill one another. <br />Where we can get rid of the worst evils, and bring hope to our futures. <br />Thanks for joining me in a part of the struggle. <br /><br />",
