Old beliefs dissolve into a stream which flows away from you taking with it bits and pieces of who you were. What’s left are are shattered fragments for you to piece back together like a puzzle. <br /><br />You are not quite sure how they all fit, and yet you know that in order to become whole again, this must be done. Not all will fit right away and you have no choice but to be OK with that—there’s really nothing you can do but accept what you feel. <br /><br />The pain from becoming is an echo that slowly disappears with each passing day. Some days it’s loud, others it’s silent. But it never fully goes away because who you were will always be a part of who you are now. <br /><br />At first, temptation to push back, hide from this new reality whispers in your ear. Pleading with you to recreate the comfort of what was. You may try. But as you fail, you realize it’s a mere memory of who you were, it’s not who you are. <br /><br />There is no going back. That person doesn’t exist anymore other than in thoughts and photographs. <br /><br />So, you stand tall, brush off the ash from the fire you birthed as a feeling enters you that you’ve never felt before. Love, love of self, love for your soul. A pure, unadulterated love formed from the very source in which you were created. A feeling so deep you drop to your knees and allow yourself to become one with this energy. <br /><br />What mattered before takes on a new meaning as you find out what truly matters to you now. <br /><br />Life carries a new meaning. You become your purpose rather than searching for it. Such a simple process complicated by the mind.
