It feels dated but in a good way. The sprite work is absolutely beautiful, it looks like the greatest RPG Maker game ever made. It's not too long, the game design is a bit obtuse but it's not too awful, and the whole thing felt very comfy, like playing a Zelda game for the first time. The biggest gripe is that the Steam version is bugged, and the final boss is actually impossible to beat if your refresh rate is over 60, because for some reason his projectile spam is tied to the framerate and nothing else in the game is; it's probably related to it being a PSP port. Another weird design issue is that the third boss in the game is actually unbeatable if you don't hit level cap and have full silver armor. This isn't actually as difficult of a feat as it sounds, but it's still a very strange design decision.
