First, the statement “the entire universe is one big bootstrap paradox” requires just as much if not more faith than the statement “the universe has a beginning and end.” But more importantly, it doesn’t satisfy the law of causality since it demands a contingent cause inside a total set of infinite contingent causes ultimately cause itself, which renders not just that one cause but the totality simultaneously contingent and necessary, which is impossible. I have no problem, however, with a Necessity spinning the Wheel from the outside. The secondary causes can repeat ad infinitum provided the primary cause draws the circle. I would nevertheless like to point out that a perfectly replicating circular timeline is indistinguishable from a timeline that only occurs once.",
