Going to be honest the first story was just ok, or meh. Nothing to really write home about. At most from what I am understand something has happen that pretty much made the green laterns loose their abilities and even to a lot of them dying. Which lead to John Stewart making what seems to be mercenary team or something of the sort. I really don't have a lot to say on this. At most it was cool to see G'nort again. This time he is more beast and ready to kill. So that was cool. But overall if it wasn't for the back ups this book would have been on my should have skipped this list.

Both the second and third story plays off the whole lanterns losing their powers. The second story has Jessica Cruz fending off 3 sinestro corp members on a lantern space station that she has been using to help protect a space sector. It was to see her again. Plus to me its great to see a lantern beat their enemies both without their rings or even space weapons. The story even ends on an interesting cliff hanger where Jessica gets a yellow ring. But sadly it seems they will not be continuing this story. Overall I think this story was the highlight of the whole book.

Third story has Guy Gardner being stuck on a alien planet and being seen as a prophet. Which leads to Guy running the whole planet and even fixing their issues and make them stop fighting each other. This was fun read. Its funny and interesting to see Guy in a role like this. It does end bad for him though with Lobo coming in and seemingly telling everyone he is a fake. Which was pretty funny.

So with my final thoughts, Guy story was funny, John story was just meh, and Jessica story was great. By the end I am not sure if I will read the second issue. To be honest would have been better to make this whole book about the Jessica getting a yellow ring. Sound like a better story to me. \n\nBoth the second and third story plays off the whole lanterns losing their powers. \n\nThird story has Guy Gardner being stuck on a alien planet and being seen as a prophet. \n\nSo with my final thoughts, Guy story was funny, John story was just meh, and Jessica story was great. By the end I am not sure if I will read the second issue.
