And it's doing its job really well!

PROTIP:
1. \"Cuties is legal and lolis are not\" - Worst argument ever. You lose both the free speech argument and moral argument since you're just agreeing to the government thought policing while altogether arguing about the immorality of DRAWINGS as you ignore actual child exploitation.

2. You're not saying anything original that hasn't been refuted before by repeating the \"lolis are child porn\" argument. The legal definition of Child Porn varies depending on how authoritarian and how insistent on thought policing the government is. Some countries does not include drawn pornography (no matter the pedophilic content) as child pornography due to the strict definitions of what the law considers to be a \"child\". In most cases, the categorization of drawn pornography as child porn hinges more on obscenity laws, not actual exploitation of real children. The same obscenity law that can be used to censor political speech.

3. Defending obscenity laws - BAD IDEA if you call yourself a free speech advocate. Especially if you consider yourself a FREE SPEECH ABSOLUTIST. Obscenity laws are bad news to political speech because just like the way the definition of \"child porn\" was changed to include \"simulated child porn\", political speeches can be thus redefined as \"subversion\", \"insurrection\", or a \"hate crime\" to make them illegal. If that sounds familiar, it's because it's already happening. It's DEFINITIONAL RETREAT FALLACY applied to law making. You should never allow the government to change the definition of legal terms to accommodate their ideological agenda.

https://www.minds.com/newsfeed/1223701940358352896?referrer=rhyanjill", "to": [ "https://www.w3.org/ns/activitystreams#Public" ], "cc": [ "https://www.minds.com/api/activitypub/users/1195615693979000837/followers" ], "tag": [], "url": "https://www.minds.com/newsfeed/1224560840098770944", "published": "2021-04-02T03:27:34+00:00", "source": { "content": "Just follow daddy government guys!\n-- Government censors them\nOMG FIGHT CENSORSHIP WITH US!\n\nLolis are the Ultimate Free Speech IQ test. And it's doing its job really well!\n\nPROTIP:\n1. \"Cuties is legal and lolis are not\" - Worst argument ever. You lose both the free speech argument and moral argument since you're just agreeing to the government thought policing while altogether arguing about the immorality of DRAWINGS as you ignore actual child exploitation.\n\n2. The same obscenity law that can be used to censor political speech.\n\n3. Defending obscenity laws - BAD IDEA if you call yourself a free speech advocate. Especially if you consider yourself a FREE SPEECH ABSOLUTIST.
