While he sits inside watching a screen or looking through glass. Working outside everyday and being at the mercy of the earth has reminded me of all my unanswered questions of previous depression: it should be no shock that as a young man I was chemically unbalanced, there was a routine but not the rhythm of the earth. As the world breathes we rise and fall as if we were laying on its lungs. I would stimulate myself with substance and what can only be described as intellectual garbage and things on a screen. But, remembering how lichen and moss feel underneath my moccasin, how my hand feels in cold rapid flowing streams. I can hardly imagine standing deep in a city surrounded by folks who don’t and don’t want to even know your name. Instead I find myself easier pictured respecting the earths breathes- studying the tips of the mountains and the fall of the slope.", "to": [ "https://www.w3.org/ns/activitystreams#Public" ], "cc": [ "https://www.minds.com/api/activitypub/users/1165631709597671440/followers" ], "tag": [], "url": "https://www.minds.com/newsfeed/1166180574275375104", "published": "2020-10-23T01:05:15+00:00", "source": { "content": "How can a man be in tune?
