"content": "Been reading some of the court decisions rejecting Lockdown challenges.<br /><br />Courts keep rejecting challenges because of a failure to demonstrate sufficient harm. This is insane.<br /><br />Since when does a human rights violation need to demonstrate harm to be considered unacceptable?<br /><br />By this logic, if I'm kidnapped but my kidnapper gives me food, a comfortable place to sleep, doesn't beat me up, and promises me no harm if I cooperate, does that make it okay?<br /><br />Does there need to be blood and gore before my rights and freedoms matter?<br /><br />This is the exact opposite of the very principle of human rights.",

All the horrors of the 20th century were committed by govt's using this line of reasoning.<br /><br />And his selective blindness to evidence & context is the perfect example of why journalism has lost all respect. This is what you'd expect from Pravda during Soviet times, not from a center to center-right mainstream newspaper in a free democratic country. Perhaps I should say formerly free and formerly democratic.",
