"content": "I mean, it's better than the Biden Administration trying to ILLEGALLY take the burden of their debt off of them and placing it on the taxpayers who didn't go to college with that money, making it so other people, like those who learned a trade, those who worked multiple jobs to pay off their student loans [understanding how loans work], or those who simply didn't go to college, have to now pay off their debts!<br /><br />Debt forgiveness doesn't wipe it from existence—someone still has to pay it back, and who's paying for it is everyone who didn't make the choice to take out tens of thousands of dollars in loans to go to university to [in many cases] get a degree that seemingly can't get them a job to pay off their loans with. <br /><br />I personally don't want to be forced to pay off the loans for the \"gender queer studies,\" \"peace studies,\" or \"antiracism studies\" majors who made the ridiculously stupid decision to waste 4 years of studying, and the money to fund it, for a degree that gets them nowhere in life.<br /><br />They also could've gone to community college for much less first and taken their prerequisites, General Ed, and non-academic courses, and then transfered, and save a ton of money, but they chose not to. They instead chose to go directly to college and take out a loan to pay for it. <br /><br />Lest we forget, these are adults who knowingly and willingly signed off on a legally binding contract to take out a loan [borrowed money] with the stated intention of paying it back within an agreed on, given, reasonable amount of time.
