"content": "It's Sunday! Yaay..and it's the start of a new week in our lives. The past week is gone and with this new week comes a lot of excitement and hope for better things.<br /><br />But the sad thing is that some people don't do well with fresh starts. Yeah.. Some persons don't embrace new beginnings rather they're always stuck in the past one way or the other.<br /><br />A fresh start can generally mean a lot of things; not just a new week, it could be a new job or a new school or a new venture..anything at all that requires us to start all over!. I'm quite aware of how uneasy it is to suddenly let go of the past and begin a fresh start, I can tell you that I've been there before, and being someone who always holds onto old things, I found it hard to start all over.<br /><br />But one thing I can tell you is this, if you don't let go of your past totally, you can't make room for the goodies that the future has in stock for you. If you're weighed down constantly by the baggages of the past, then there won't be chance for a happy start.! And that's why you have to let go... It's not easy, but you have to try😊.<br /><br />As we journey into a new week, develop a positive mindset that this new week is a fresh start for you and there is nothing holding you back from exploring what the new week has stored up for you. Let that be your motto this week and in every other life aspect.!<br /><br />Have a great week FAM!",

"content": "Communication is a basic attribute of man and our ability to communicate is one of the major things that sets us apart from other creatures.<br /><br />Human interactions/communication can happen either in real-life, social media or any other online communication platform. And while most people operate with the policy of WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) i.e they communicate same way be it online and in real life, there is still a percentage of us who are not just the same online and in real-life😏. Most people seem to be comfortable with a particular type of communication than the others.<br /><br />For instance, you'll get to see people who can barely talk when they're chatting with you online, but when you get to see them in person?? Hahaha, you'll be shocked at how much lively they are.<br /><br />There are still some people who are very active on social media.. You'll see them posting all the time and being very social, but in real-life they are actually a bit conserved.<br /><br />If you ask me, I'd say frankly that I'm a bit uptight in real life than on social media😂😂. Yeah.. I'm that kind of person that talks only when I'm with close friends and family..but when I'm online, I see that as an escape route and i just socialize to a very high extent😂😂.<br /><br />Now it's your turn guys, let me hear from you! Do you communicate differently in person than you do online?? Or are you the same person in real-life and online??<br />",

"content": "Many of us are familiar with Abraham Maslow's hierarchy of needs, in which he stated five (5) basic levels of human needs. Each of them is important on its own and some are dependent on the others.<br /><br /><br />The five levels of human needs are; >>> Physiological needs<br />>>> Safety needs<br />>>> Love and Belongingness<br />>>> Self esteem<br />>>> Self actualization<br /><br /><br />Every individual works to overcome each of these needs and while it may be easy to conquer the first two hierarchies, the problem lies in the last two need levels i.e self esteem and self actualization.<br /><br /><br />When a man seeks to surmount these natural needs, the basic need that comes in handy first is the physiological need which includes food, clothing etc. After that comes the need for safety and this has to do with building a house (shelter) and other security measures.<br /><br /><br />But a very dynamic stage of this hierarchy is the need for \"Love and belongingness\"; this is because without it, no man can achieve self actualization.!<br />And that is why humans always seek love and a sense of belonging.<br /><br /><br />The hierarchy of love and belongingness entails \"the need to love and be loved back\", \"the need to belong to the society\", \"the need to feel appreciated\" etc. As human, we are bound to have these needs and we all work towards fulfilling them.<br /><br /><br />This explains why a man would seek a spouse for himself and get married, have kids and build a family. When an individual succeeds in achieving this stage; when he begins to feel loved and accepted in the society, the next thing that follows is the need for self esteem.
