This is (((Libertarian))) propaganda to brainwash the masses into extending individual liberty to business enterprises even when they become de-facto governments. This is a roundabout path to aristocracy/oligarchy. That's where we are today, caught between communist democratyrranical governments and plutocratic corporate-communist shadow governments, with boomer conservative-libertarians defending the latter as \"anti-communist\".<br /><br />Let's get real. Any enterprise that employs and serves other people (any business beyond self-sufficient peasant farming) is not strictly the owner's business. To the extent that it impinges upon or threatens other people's self-interest, it's their business too. I'm talking \"externalities\" in economics terms. It's not \"your private business\" if you're a farmer who builds a dam and hogs all the water in the area, or you build a factory that spreads toxic pollution and gives everyone cancer and deformed retard babies, or you're a mad scientist creating bioweapons, or an sorceror or witch if such things are possible. Most societies throughout history had the equivalent of Inquisitors to hunt down assholes like that. And there will always be some form of regulation or vigilantism whenever someone gets to greedy or outsiders invade - like the riots in Ireland this week.<br /><br />It's inevitable that you're always gonna be under some degree of socialism, collectivism, democracy, tyranny, fascism, militarism, pacifism, etc - all at the same time, and in phases. When you go to one extreme, it backfires and you get the opposite. There's always conflict, struggle, war, problems. When everyone tries to avoid conflict (like modern normie cucks) it just sets up a conflict against complacency and its consequences. The best you can hope for is to live under _competent_ tyrants and functionaries, in a productive and prosperous society with plenty of surplus to go around so the socialist aspects aren't a burden on hard workers, with a healthy level of tyranny to keep the inevitable welfare parasites in check.",

"content": "<p><span>Started on my NPC AI system because that's the main ingredient lacking for fun gameplay.<br />It's a modified, event-driven Behavior Tree system...<br />Since it only runs on specific trigger events (detected by C code) and not every frame, I think we can get away with Lua for most of the functions, so we don't need any complicated Lua-C hybrid code after all.<br />With events, we probably won't need a 'running' state either, so our BT tick functions can just return boolean success/fail values.
