"content": "From the very beginning, this video addresses how almost all Christianity has become the heretical joke it has become: it has \"become colorblind & culture-blind by absorbing both liberalism and marxism. This is something right wing Western critics of Christianity need to understand: the problem is absorption of Liberalism & Marxism. They are the enemies which must be defeated. At 6:07 in the video, he gives a good characterization of the view antagonistic pagans & other hostile people take. What those bemoaning \"Universalist\" ideas fail to understand is that the ideas within ethics & the rest of philosophy aren't going to be more or less truthful depending on whether you're Germanic or Mediterranean. The ideas of multiculturalism, equality, and the rest of the Liberal & Marxist platforms can be defeated without adopting paganism. It just takes some study. <br /><br />And nothing will change the fact that the West reached the height of it's power during it's Christian period. And no, that was not merely coincidental, with technology being what made us great. Most ethnic Westerners can't even figure out how to justify their existence, or a proper place within the societies that their ancestors built, societies that can't run or survive without them.<br /><br />In the American case, the 1776 literature was exceedingly effective at being subversive and sowing paranoia. And it worked very well. Unfortunately it still does. And when people don't know what right and wrong is - and to any sophisticated agree, they don't - then they feel threatened by the imposition of any sort of authority. I said awhile back that I think an awful lot of the country is just so morally ignorant that they can't accept anything other than libertarianism - or a really open liberalism - because they just can't morally reason well enough to avoid feeling threatened by the imposition of virtually any authority. <br /><br /> While some moral issues seem easy to decide, many others are not nearly so easy. People tend to underestimate the challenge of moral reasoning, and many do it quite poorly. That's why many people keep seeing freedom as a way of keeping threats and bad authority away. The problem is what we need are the right values. But because of the liberalism and the free-thinking, and the massive moral ignorance, most Westerners aren't even capable of having a serious discussion about the right values and morals. And we can hardly change the culture or the dominant political ideology without that discussion, at least not before a complete disaster. But the ignorance persists, so they decide to stay safe and keep their options open by way of amoral freedom. But that doesn't work, because the right values are indispensable.<br /><br />Prior to the onset of political science in the 20th Century, people wanting to study politics initially started studying moral philosophy - aka \"ethics\". However, all science can validly do is tell you what is and is not. It can describe happenstance. But it certainly cannot tell you what should be. That is and always will be a matter for moral philosophy. But due to the political science perspective, as well as the dominance of liberalism and it's influences (John Stuart Mill) morality has just been completely overlooked.
