"content": "July 3, 2020<br /><br />Alafia to the Ebewa,<br /><br />I hope all is well! I hope you can take the time to look this over...<br /><br />I wanted to pass along some updates from the group as well as some info from the current forecast re. the upcoming full moon eclipse- see below. This eclipse will occur the day of our gathering on Sunday! <br /><br />I also wanted to let everyone know about someone who will be joining us for the first time this Sunday! He had a reading last night and hopes to do the prescribed bath before Sunday. He will be sharing a bit about the obstacles he has been facing. He is from Nigeria and like me, has Igbo ancestry- remember the Igbo shrine in our Village! I was guided to invite him to join our circle for at least a month so that he can begin to establish a firm spiritual foundation to fortify himself against this potent source of obstacles that is a bit complex to remove!<br /><br />Other Ebewa updates- I just got off the phone with several of you so I wanted to share that the reason why Leilani and Nahomi were late joining us last week was because they were buying red clothes for the Summer Solstice ceremony! Who knew! I let them know that I wanted to share that with the group. And Leilani got a new white dress as well to be prepared for our gatherings- ase! Leilani also spoke of the fact that she receives messages from the ancestors and is looking for more guidance and clarity about this. They speak to her almost every day! She will soon be getting a reading but I encouraged her to share about this in our circle on Sunday.<br /><br />And I told Tenneh that I wanted to share that she spoke of her deep connection with the tree in front of her house. She was able to tap into his energy and receive a lovely sense of well being that lingered even after she went back inside! I didn't even think of this earlier but it is most certainly enhanced by her daily practice of laying covered with sticks each day as prescribed by her recent reading.<br /><br />Sunday's eclipse<br />The forecast we follow does not get into the flavor of this eclipse, but I found a very good description:<br />\"The Solar Eclipse in Capricorn Will Help Us Find Truth<br />This July 4th weekend is filled with complicated planetary transits, namely the conjunction the Moon in Sagittarius makes to the South Node. The energy around that transit is a beacon for change, asking you to stick to what you do know and learn to listen. On July 5, the lunar eclipse in Capricorn—the last of this summer's eclipses—will feed into our desire for truth. A lunar eclipse suggests that secrets and hidden information will be released. During the eclipse, the Moon will make a conjunction to Jupiter, the planet of expansion and abundance, and oppose Mercury Retrograde in Cancer—a transit that’s forcing us to sit down and think about our childhood and familial dynamics.\"",
